Yekaterina Dyachenko
Yekaterina Vladimirovna Dyachenko (russian: Екатерина Владимировна Дьяченко, also known as Ekaterina Diatchenko, born 31 August 1987) is a Russian former sabre fencer. Dyachenko represented Russia at the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing, where she competed in two sabre events. She is the daughter of fencing coaches Vladimir and Natalya Dyachenko and the sister of Aleksey Dyachenko, who won the bronze medal as a member of the Russian team in the men's team sabre at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens, Greece. Yana Karapetovna Egorian (russian: Яна Карапетовна Егорян, hy, Յանա Կարապետովնա Եգորեան; also spelled Yegoryan, born 20 December 1993) is a Russian left-handed sabre fencer, six-time team European champion, two-time team world champion, 2016 individual Olympic champion, and 2016 team Olympic champion. Biography Egorian was born in Tbilisi, Georgia. When she was 6 years old, she moved to Khimki, Moscow Oblast. Olena Vitaliyivna Kravatska ( uk, Олена Віталіївна Краватська; born 22 June 1992) is a Ukrainian sabre fencer. Competing in team events, she is the 2015 World silver medalist and 2016 Olympic silver medalist. Career Kravatska won a silver medal in the 2010 Junior European Championships and a team gold medal the same year in the Junior World Championships. She is known for being the first Muslim American woman to wear a headscarf while competing for the United States in the Olympics, as well as for winning an Olympic medal (bronze) wearing it. Anne-Elizabeth Stone, commonly known as Eliza Stone, (born December 31, 1990) is an American sabre fencer. Her results include an individual bronze medal at the 2018 World Fencing Championships and a team gold medal in the 2014 World Championships. Career Stone grew up fencing with her younger brother and sister in Chicago. She first took ballet lessons. She switched to fencing at the age of ten after her father saw a flier for a fencing club at a pizza parlor and thought it would be a good sport for his children.
