Arena Leipzig
The Arena Leipzig is a multipurpose indoor arena located in Leipzig, Germany. The capacity of the arena is 8,000 people for sporting events and up to 12,200 for shows and concerts. It is part of the Sportforum Leipzig, which also contains Red Bull Arena and the Sportmuseum Leipzig. Nam Hyun-hee
Nam Hyun-Hee (; or ; born 29 September 1981) is a South Korean foil fencer. She is left-handed. She won the silver medal at the Beijing Olympics after losing 6-5 to Valentina Vezzali in the final. She was also a team bronze medalist at the 2012 Summer Olympics, with South Korea beating France in the bronze medal match. Her teammates were Jeon Hee-Sok, Jung Gil-Ok and Oh Ha-Na. At the World Championship level, she was twice a world bronze medalist as an individual (2010 and 2011), she was part of the Korean team that won the team world championship in 2005. İrem Karamete (born June 20, 1993) is a Turkish fencer competing in the foil event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. She is the first Turkish fencer to qualify for the Olympics since 1984. Early life Karamete was born into a fencing family in Istanbul, Turkey on June 20, 1993. Her father Mehmet Karamete coached the Israeli and German national fencing teams, as well as his spouse Nili Drori. İrem's mother Nili competed in the women's individual foil events for Israel at the 1976 and 1984 Summer Olympics. Her older sister Merve also competed in fencing, and was a member of the national team. Karamete completed her bachelor's degree in industrial engineering with an athletic scholarship at Ozyegin University, Istanbul. Margaret Lu (born March 21, 1994) is an American fencer. Lu has participated in the World Fencing Championships several times, winning a silver medal in 2017 and a gold medal in 2018, both in the team events. Nicole Ross (born January 15, 1989) is an American foil Fencing, fencer. Fencing for the Columbia Lions fencing, Columbia Lions fencing team, she won the 2010 NCAA individual women's foil title, and was a three time All-American. Eleanor Harvey (born January 14, 1995) is a Canadian foil fencer from Hamilton, Ontario. Harvey won the gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games in Toronto in the women's team foil event. She is also a former world junior silver medallist in the women's individual foil event. Early life Harvey became interested in becoming an Olympian while watching 2000 Sydney Games. She began training for long distance running before turning to karate at eight years ago. She trained karate for two years before realizing that karate was not an Olympic sport at that time.
