Founded by Delia Passi in 2011, former publisher of ''Working Woman'' and '' Working Mother'' magazines. Market research The Women's Choice Award conducts marketing research surveys using its own proprietary database of women consumers and evaluates other quantitative data, depending on the award category. The company also relies on research conducted in partnership with the Wharton School of Business on what drives the consumer experience for women vs. men. Women in Distress (WID) is a nationally accredited, state-certified, full service domestic violence center in Broward County, Florida. WID adopts an empowerment based model. WID provides victims of domestic violence with safe shelter, crisis intervention and resources, and raises community awareness through intervention, education and advocacy. WID works in partnership with the Broward County Sheriff's Office (BSO).
