Knights Of The New Thunder
''Knights of the New Thunder'' is the second studio album by the Norwegian heavy metal band TNT. It was the first TNT album recorded with their new vocalist Tony Harnell, who had replaced their original singer Dag Ingebrigtsen. Most of the songs on the album had been written and recorded as demos while Ingebrigtsen was still in the band, but most of the lyrics were rewritten by Harnell. Some of the song titles were also changed; "Toys for Boys" and "Black Sheep of Valhalla" became "Break the Ice" and "Knights of the Thunder", respectively. Two songs from TNT's self-titled first album, "USA" and "Eddie", were re-recorded and included on the album, though "Eddie" was an exclusive bonus track on the CD edition in Europe, and replaced "Tor with the Hammer" on U.S. editions. "Eddie" also came on the single American Tracks bundled with the LP in Europe. This was their last album playing traditional heavy metal, as their later releases have a more glam metal style. The album's origina ...

Kingdom Of Madness (Magnum Album)
''Kingdom of Madness'' is the debut studio album by the English rock band Magnum. It was recorded in 1976, and was released in 1978 by Jet Records. ''Kingdom of Madness'' was awarded a 4 star review in Sounds, with writer Geoff Barton suggesting the band were capable of making a strong claim for a slice of the market occupied by the likes of Styx, Kansas and Yes. The album was described as "flute-laced progressive rock sound similar to that of Jethro Tull. The songwriting ranges from imaginative, mythical tales on "In the Beginning" and the title song, to deeply philosophical tracks like "Universe" and "All That Is Real"." The album was also noted for its imaginative lyrics, with influence from Hawkwind member, Blue Öyster Cult lyricist and science fiction author Michael Moorcock, the songs "Lord of Chaos" and "Stormbringer" directly referencing Moorcock's '' Elric'' series. Prior to the release, Magnum had toured the UK extensively with the likes of Judas Priest and ...

Tweaked (album)
''Tweaked'' is the 5th studio album and first independently released collection of new material by American rock band Enuff Z'nuff. Having been earlier presented as a glam rock band in the midst of the grunge movement, Enuff Z'nuff fought to distinguish their sound for their first proper independent release. Although the singles "Bullet from a Gun" and "Life Is Strange" lean toward a modern alternative sound, other tracks such as "My Heroin," "Without Your Love," and "How Am I Supposed To Write A Love Song?" were recorded in more of a blues rock style. The remaining songs from ''Tweaked'' don't veer far from the formula used on earlier Enuff Z'nuff albums. Songs such as "My Dear Dream," "We're All Alright," and "Has Jesus Closed His Eyes" utilize their obvious past influences of Electric Light Orchestra, Cheap Trick and The Beatles. However, ''Tweaked'' does mark a noticeable change in direction in that lead guitar prowess was no longer a highlight. This was either due to changin ...
