Wisin Y Yandel
Wisin & Yandel is a Puerto Rican reggaeton duo consisting of Wisin and Yandel. They started their career in the late 1990s and have been together since, winning several awards including a Grammy Award in 2009. They became the first and the only reggaeton artists to win one. In late 2013, they announced they would take a pause in their career as a duo, after their Líderes tour. In a 2014 interview with People en Español, Yandel confirmed that the group would not be disbanding. In February 2018, following a five-year hiatus, the duo announced they would be reuniting, and are set to embark on a world tour, as well as release new music. They sold over 15 million records. Cayey, Puerto Rico
Cayey (), officially Cayey de Muesas, is a mountain town and municipality in central Puerto Rico located on the Sierra de Cayey within the Central Mountain range, north of Salinas and Guayama; south of Cidra and Caguas; east of Aibonito and Salinas; and west of San Lorenzo. Reggaeton
Reggaeton (, ), also known as reggaetón and reguetón (), is a music style that originated in Panama during the late 1980s. It was later popularized in Puerto Rico. It has evolved from dancehall and has been influenced by American hip hop, Latin American, and Caribbean music. Vocals include rapping and singing, typically in Spanish. Reggaeton is regarded as one of the most popular music genres in the Spanish-speaking Caribbean, including Puerto Rico, Panama, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Colombia, and Venezuela. Over the 2010s, the genre has seen increased popularity across Latin America, as well as acceptance within mainstream Western music. ''Pa'l Mundo'' ( en, For the World) is the fourth studio album by Puerto Rican reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel, released on November 8, 2005, by Machete Music. The album includes the singles, "Rakata," "Llamé Pa' Verte (Bailando Sexy)," and "Noche de Sexo", each of which were top five hits on the U.S. ''Billboard'' Hot Latin Tracks chart. The song "Mayor Que Yo, Pt. 2" is a continuation of the song " Mayor Que Yo" by from the album reggaeton compilation album '' Mas Flow 2'' produced by Luny Tunes. Luny Tunes co-produced the bulk of ''Pa'l Mundo'', assisted by Nely, Tainy, Thilo, and Nesty. A deluxe edition of the album was released on May 16, 2006. ''Quien Contra Mí'' (English: ''Who's Against Me?'') is the debut album by Puerto Rican reggaeton singer-songwriter Yandel released physically on September 15, 2003, through Fresh Production, and released Worldwide on January 13, 2004, through Lideres Entertainment Group. The album was re-released on January 30, 2007, through Machete Music an urban music label owned by Universal. Three songs from the album were released as singles with their respective music video; "Te Suelto El Pelo", "Ya Yo Me Cansé" and "Say Ho!", they were included on the Bonus CD Edition from the album.
