Wisconsin's 19th Assembly District
The 19th Assembly district of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district is entirely contained within the city of Milwaukee, in Milwaukee County, covering downtown and part of the Lake Michigan coastline. It contains the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee campus, the Milwaukee Art Museum (Quadracci Pavilion), the Port of Milwaukee, and the Henry Maier Festival Park, site of Milwaukee's annual Summerfest. The district has been represented by Ryan Clancy of the Democratic Party since January 2023. Jonathan Brostoff
Jonathan Brostoff (born September 25, 1983) is an American Democratic legislator from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He represents the 3rd District of the Milwaukee Common Council, succeeding fellow Democrat Nik Kovac. Between 2015 and 2022, he represented the 19th district in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Background Born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Brostoff is the son of Alan and Phyllis Brostoff. Jon Richards
Jonathan David Richards (born September 5, 1963) is an American attorney, judge, and Democratic politician. He currently serves as a Wisconsin circuit court judge in Milwaukee County, since his appointment on September 22, 2020, by Governor Tony Evers. He previously represented Milwaukee for 16 years in the Wisconsin State Assembly and was a candidate for Attorney General of Wisconsin in 2014. Barbara Notestein
Barbara Notestein (born April 14, 1949) is an American social worker from Wisconsin who served as a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly and is now executive director of Safe and Sound, a crime prevention organization. Background Notestein was born on April 14, 1949, in Madison, Wisconsin, and grew up in Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin. She is a graduate of Whitefish Bay High School. Rosemary Potter
Rosemary Potter is a former member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Biography Potter was born on April 15, 1952, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated from Bay View High School and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee before serving as an intern with the United Nations. Potter was later a member of the faculty at Milwaukee Area Technical College, Alverno College and the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and spent time in Italy, India, Argentina, Uruguay, Brazil, Chile and Japan. Racine County (, sometimes also ) is a county in southeastern Wisconsin. As of the 2020 census, its population was 197,727, making it Wisconsin's fifth-most populous county. Its county seat is Racine. The county was founded in 1836, then a part of the Wisconsin Territory. Racine County comprises the Racine metropolitan statistical area. Wisconsin's 21st Assembly District
The 21st Assembly District of Wisconsin is one of 99 districts in the Wisconsin State Assembly. Located in southeastern Wisconsin, the district covers the southeast corner of Milwaukee County, including all of the suburban cities of Oak Creek and South Milwaukee, as well as a few blocks of the neighboring city of Franklin. The district is represented by Republican Jessie Rodriguez, since winning a special election in November 2013.
