Winston Stanley (Australian Rugby Union Player)
Winston Stanley (born 11 February 1989 in Brisbane, Australia) is an Australian-born Samoan former rugby union footballer who usually played as a centre and occasionally as a wing. Stanley began his career in New Zealand, playing for in the ITM Cup between 2007 and 2011. During that time he also made 6 appearances for the in Super Rugby. He moved back to his native Australia ahead of the 2012 Super Rugby season and signed for the Perth based Western Force. He made 11 appearances in his first season with the side and scored 2 tries. Stanley was a member of the New Zealand Under 20 team that won the 2009 IRB Junior World Championship where he was later nominated for IRB junior player of the year losing out to Aaron Cruden. Michael Stanley (born 29 December 1989, Auckland, New Zealand) is a New Zealand-born, English raised, Samoan rugby union rugby player. Career Stanley started his senior career in England with Saracens as an academy player from the age of 14. He made his senior debut for Saracens versus Toulon as a centre under the tutelage of Eddie Jones. Stanley was just 18 when he faced a Sonny Bill Williams in his prime during that match. He represented England age groups at U16, U18 and U20's. Aaron Cruden
Aaron Wiremu Cruden (born 8 January 1989) is a New Zealand rugby union player, who plays for Chiefs and formerly Montpellier, Manawatu and New Zealand internationally. Cruden's usual position is first five-eighth (fly half). Early life Cruden of Māori descent was born in Palmerston North and attended Palmerston North Boys' High School. He captained the 2006 Palmerston North Boys' High School 1st XV which included the likes of Hadleigh Parkes, Kurt Baker and Andre Taylor. Cruden was diagnosed with testicular cancer at the age of 19, which necessitated the removal of one of his testicles. The cancer has since gone into remission. In 2008, Cruden attended the High Performance Player's Course at the International Rugby Academy NZ (IRANZ). Super Rugby is a men's professional rugby union club competition involving teams from Australia, Fiji, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. It previously included teams from Argentina, Japan, and South Africa.
