Richard Wayne Mullins (October 21, 1955 – September 19, 1997) was an American contemporary Christian music singer and songwriter best known for his worship songs " Awesome God" and "Sometimes by Step". Some of his albums were listed by ''CCM Magazine'' in their ranking of the 100 Greatest Albums in Christian Music, including ''A Liturgy, a Legacy, & a Ragamuffin Band'' (1993) at No. 3, '' The World As Best As I Remember It, Volume One'' (1991) at No. 7, and ''Winds of Heaven, Stuff of Earth'' (1988) at No. 31. Dick and Melodie Tunney are a husband-and-wife duo who have written and performed with many contemporary Christian artists. They have written songs for Sandi Patti, Larnelle Harris and other Christian artists. Biography Melodie was raised in a minister of music's home in Fort Worth, and Dick came from a working family in Ohio. Both were musicians at an early age. In the late 1970s, they joined a Christian group called "Truth," which brought the two together. After 18 months of constant touring, Dick joined the award-winning group the Imperials. Six months later the couple married and settled in Nashville, Tennessee. Throughout the 1980s, Dick and Melodie focused on songwriting and studio work, and immersed themselves in Nashville's creative community. "First Call" is a bugle call with three distinct meanings. U.S. military use At a U.S. military installation it is a pre-reveille "courtesy" signal, sounded around 05:50, originally to assemble the trumpeters to deliver the reveille that would be forthcoming at 06:00. Wayne Kirkpatrick (born c. 1961) is an American songwriter and musician born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana who now lives in Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Baton Rouge Magnet High School in 1979. Billy Sprague (born July 17, 1952) is an American Christian pop singer, songwriter, and producer. Sprague was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, to William Sprague and Oteka (Barnes) Sprague. He was raised in Borger, Texas. A fiddle is a bowed string musical instrument, most often a violin. It is a colloquial term for the violin, used by players in all genres, including classical music.
