Willis Family
The Willis family are a fictional family from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours''. They were introduced by Don Battye in 1989, but left screens in 1996, before being reintroduced in 2013. The first family member to be seen on-screen was Brad Willis, who appeared in a guest capacity from October 1989, and then his sister Cody from November. The family became a more permanent fixture with the arrival of patriarch Doug Willis and his wife Pam, who moved onto Ramsay Street the following year. Cody was the last family member to regularly appear in the show until her on-screen death in 1996, which brought Pam back briefly to bury her daughter. Don Battye
Donald Gordon Battye (29 September 1938 – 28 February 2016) was an Australian composer, writer and television producer, best known for his work with Crawford Productions and Reg Grundy Organisation (known then as Reg Grundy Productions). Biography and career Battye worked on several Crawford Productions television serials as a writer, script editor, and producer including soap opera '' The Box'' in 1976 and 1977, ''The Sullivans'' and police procedural drama series ''Division 4'', '' Bluey'' (1976) and ''Homicide''. '' Neighbours'' is an Australian television soap opera. It was first broadcast on 18 March 1985 and currently airs on digital channel Eleven. The following is a list of characters that appeared in the show in 2017, by order of first appearance. All characters are introduced by the shows executive producer Jason Herbison. The 33rd season of ''Neighbours'' began airing from 9 January 2017. Andrea and Willow Somers made their debuts during the same month. Daniel Robinson (Neighbours)
Daniel Robinson is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Tim Phillipps. Daniel was created in 1992 as the son of iconic ''Neighbours'' couple Scott (Jason Donovan) and Charlene (Kylie Minogue). He was occasionally referred to in the episodes since then, but never seen on-screen. Amber Turner
Amber Turner is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Jenna Rosenow. The actress, who had previously appeared in the show as an extra, successfully auditioned for the role of Amber and relocated to Melbourne from Geelong for filming. Jack Callahan (Neighbours)
Jack Callahan is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera '' Neighbours'', played by Andrew Morley. The actor was cast in late 2015 and landed the regular role of Jack. Mark Brennan (Neighbours)
Mark Brennan (also referred to as just Brennan) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Scott McGregor. He made his first appearance during the episode broadcast on 30 August 2010. McGregor initially had a four-week guest contract, but this was increased to six months. Shortly after, it was announced that McGregor's contract had been extended again to twelve months and that he would become a regular cast member. Lauren Carpenter
Lauren Turner (also Carpenter) is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Kate Kendall. The role was originally played by Sarah Vandenbergh, and she made her first appearance during the episode broadcast on 16 February 1993. Beth Brennan
Beth Brennan (also Willis) is a fictional character from the Australian television soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Natalie Imbruglia. She made her debut screen appearance in the episode broadcast on 6 January 1992. Beth is characterised as a nice person who lets people take advantage of her kind personality. Beth works as a builder's apprentice in the construction industry and this meant she was supposed to have a "tough" persona. Kyle Canning is a fictional character from the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'', played by Chris Milligan. The actor successfully auditioned for the six-week recurring role of Kyle and he made his first on screen appearance on 26 November 2008. Ramsay Street
Ramsay Street is the fictional cul-de-sac in which the characters of the Australian soap opera ''Neighbours'' live. The street is set in the equally fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough. ''Neighbours'' storylines primarily centre on the residents of the street, which was named after Jack Ramsay, the grandfather of original character Max Ramsay (Francis Bell). A blackjack game between Jack and Sam Robinson determined whose name the street would be named after. Only six houses on the street are featured on a regular basis; numbers 22 to 32.
