Willie Scott (born May 22, 1947) is an American former professional basketball player. He played in the American Basketball Association for the Dallas Chaparrals The Dallas Chaparrals were a charter member of the American Basketball Association (ABA). In the sport of basketball, there are five players play per team, each assigned to positions. Historically, these players have been assigned, to positions defined by the role they play on the court, from a strategic point of view. The three main positions are guard, forward, and center, with the standard team featuring two guards, two forwards, and a center. Gadsden is a city in and the county seat of Etowah County in the U.S. state of Alabama. It is located on the Coosa River about northeast of Birmingham and southwest of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
