William R. Schroeder
William Ralph Schroeder is an American philosopher and emeritus Professor of Philosophy at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is known for his expertise on continental philosophy and ethics. He has authored several books about philosophy. Western Philosophy
Western philosophy encompasses the philosophical thought and work of the Western world. Historically, the term refers to the philosophical thinking of Western culture, beginning with the ancient Greek philosophy of the pre-Socratics.
