William Le Maire De Warzée D'Hermalle
William "Willy" le Maire de Warzée d'Hermalle (; 7 March 1879 –1966) was a Belgian tennis player. He has been named as among the best male tennis players in Belgian history. Le Maire de Warzée d'Hermalle reached the quarterfinals of Wimbledon in 1904 and 1908. Le Maire de Warzée d'Hermalle was born into the Belgian nobility, the son of Marie-Léon-Hubert le Maire Warzée d'Hermalle (born 1848) and Noëmie Constance Caroline Georgine Valérie de Warzée d'Hermalle (born in Beaufays in 1850). The 1904 Wimbledon Championships took place on the outdoor grass courts at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club in Wimbledon, London, United Kingdom. Marie-Georges-Gérard-Léon le Maire de Warzée d'Hermalle, Baron de Warzée d'Hermalle (10 November 1877, Liège, Belgium – 9 July 1931, Beijing, China) was a Belgian nobleman and diplomat. He was born on 10 November 1877 at Liège into a noble Belgian family, the son of Marie-Léon-Hubert le Maire Warzée d'Hermalle (born 1848) and Noëmie Constance Caroline Georgine Valérie de Warzée d'Hermalle (born in Beaufays in 1850). He married Dorothy Davis, daughter of Irish writer Owen Hall, in London on 19 April 1902. The couple had two children: Diane and Guy. He died in Beijing, China on 9 July 1931. Owen Hall (10 April 1853 – 9 April 1907) was the principal pen name of the Irish-born theatre writer, racing correspondent, theatre critic and solicitor, James "Jimmy" Davis, when writing for the stage. After his successive careers in law and journalism, Hall wrote the librettos for a series of extraordinarily successful musical comedies in the 1890s and the first decade of the 1900s, including ''A Gaiety Girl, An Artist's Model, The Geisha, A Greek Slave'' and ''Florodora''.
