William Lawson (speedway Rider)
William Lawson (born 27 February 1987) is a former motorcycle speedway rider from Scotland. Career Lawson's first British league team was Newcastle Diamonds, where he spent the 2003 and 2004 seasons. In 2005, Lawson signed for Edinburgh Monarchs for the 2005 Premier League speedway season. He would stay with the club for four years, while also riding for Wolverhampton Wolves in 2006 and 2007. After spells with Glasgow and Berwick in 2009 he rode with the Belle Vue Aces in the British Elite League during 2010. He announced his retirement before the 2011 season. In 2018, he made a surprise comeback for one of his former clubs the Edinburgh Monarchs. He spent four more seasons with them from 2018 until 2022. Perth (Scottish English, locally: ; gd, Peairt ) is a city in central Scotland, on the banks of the River Tay. Team Speedway Junior World Championship
The Team Speedway Under-21 World Championship is a speedway competition to determine the World Championship for national Under-21 teams. The sport's equivalent of the Under-21 World Cup in football, as of 2022 the title is awarded to the winners of SON2, the Under-21 division of the Speedway of Nations. The first edition of the competition was in 2005 prior to its incorporation with the Speedway of Nations. Poland has dominated the competition winning the title record 15 times. Great Britain National Under-21 Speedway Team ...
The Great Britain national under-21 speedway team is the national under-21 motorcycle speedway team of Great Britain and is controlled by the Auto-Cycle Union. The team was started in all editions of Under-21 World Cup and was won one silver medal in 2007. Denmark has produced three Under-21 World Champions: Chris Louis (1990), Joe Screen (1993) and Lee Richardson (1999). Two riders, Marvyn Cox (1984) and Gary Havelock (1987) was won Individual U-21 European Championship open for riders from all continents. The 2008 Team Speedway Junior World Championship was the fourth FIM World Team Junior Championship. The final took place on 21 September 2008, in Holsted, Denmark.
