William Easton (footballer)
William Easton (born 17 July 1986) is a Scottish footballer who plays for Kilsyth Rangers in the Scottish Junior Football Association, West Region as a left winger. He began his career in the Scottish Premier League for Dundee United, making his debut in 2006. He also played for Stirling Albion on loan before signing for Ayr United in 2008. Since entering junior football in 2011, Easton has had spells with Kirkintilloch Rob Roy, Pollok and Cambuslang Rangers prior to joining Kilsyth in 2015. Career Easton was a product of Dundee United's youth system and made his first-team debut for United in May 2006, as a substitute in the 1–1 draw against Motherwell on the final day of the 2005–06 SPL season. The following season, Easton made a further seven appearances, with one start in May 2007. William Easton is a Scottish artist, curator and writer, His performances, films and art works have been shown extensively including exhibitions at the ICA in 1984, London, Bornholm Art Museum in Denmark in 2004, Museum of Contemporary Art, Warsaw at the Ujazdów Castle in 1991, Bronx Museum of the Arts in New York in 1992, Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art in Kansas City in 2002 and at The Kitchen, in New York, in 2001. As a curator he has presented programmes of art and design at a number of places including exhibitions at the Moderna Museet in Stockholm, Skulpturens Hus, Tensta Konsthall, The Baltic Art Centre in Visby and The Centre of Contemporary Art in Szczecin, Poland. He has been the recipient of numerous awards and grants including the Anna Louise Raymond Fellowship, William Townsend Memorial Scholarship and the Betty Park Award For Critical Writing. Billy Easton
William Easton (10 March 1904 – c.1982) was an English footballer who played at inside-forward for Blyth Spartans, Rotherham County, Montreal Maroons (Canada), Everton, Swansea Town, Port Vale, Aldershot, and Workington. Career Easton played for Eston, Blyth Spartans (in two spells), West Stanley (on trial), Rotherham County, Canadian side Montreal Maroons, Everton and Swansea Town, before joining Port Vale in May 1931. He scored on his debut on 29 August, in a 3–1 win over Plymouth Argyle at Home Park. He went on to score seven goals in 22 Second Division appearances in the 1931–32 season, but hardly featured at The Old Recreation Ground in the following season.
