William A. Munro
William Anthony Munro (born 29 September 1992) is an Australian rugby player who has represented NSW in the Australian National Rugby Championship. He played for the NSW Country Eagles squad in 2014 and Greater Sydney Rams in 2015 while studying at the University of Sydney. Munro began his first-grade rugby career debut in 2013 playing for the Randwick DRUFC where he won best and fairest award. From January 2017, Munro has played matches for the Australian Barbarians, the Hong Kong Football Club, the Classic Wallabies and French Fédérale 1 league team AS.Mâcon. In January 2019, Munro was signed onto the Glendale Raptors to play in the 2019 season. In December 2022, he was charged MDMA possession at a Sydney festival. Randwick DRUFC
Randwick District Rugby Union Football Club, also known as the Galloping Greens, is an Australian rugby union club which competes in the Sydney premier grade rugby union competition. The club was formed in 1882 and since then has won 32 first grade premierships and six Australian club championships. It is one of the traditional powerhouses of the Shute Shield competition, winning 14 titles from 1978 to 1996. Randwick's colours are myrtle green and the club's home ground is Coogee Oval. In the 1980s the club produced many Wallabies, including the Ella brothers. Its history has seen many of Australia's best players represent the club, including the likes of George Gregan and David Campese. The team was founded by a group of patrons associated with country rugby in New South Wales.
