Will Oakes
William Oakes (born 27 February 1999) is a Scotland international rugby league footballer who plays on the for the Bradford Bulls in the Betfred Championship. He played for Hull Kingston Rovers in the Super League and spent time on loan from Hull KR at the York City Knights in League 1 and in the Championship, as well as a loan at Dewsbury Rams in the second tier. Halifax () is a minster and market town in the Metropolitan Borough of Calderdale in West Yorkshire, England. Tonga National Rugby League Team
The Tonga national rugby league team ( to, timi līki ʻakapulu fakafonua ʻa Tonga) represents Tonga in rugby league football. They are currently the second ranked team in the world. The team was formed to compete in the 1986 Pacific Cup, and have competed at six Rugby League World Cups, starting in 1995 and continuing consecutively until the most recent tournament. The 2017 Rugby League World Cup was the fifteenth staging of the Rugby League World Cup tournament and took place in Australia, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea between 27 October and 2 December 2017. The Championship, known as the Betfred Championship for sponsorship reasons, is a professional rugby league competition. Dual registration refers to an arrangement between clubs whereby a player continues to be registered to his current club and is also registered to play for a club in a lower league. The system is mostly aimed at young Super League players who are thought to be not quite ready to make the step up to ‘week in, week out’ first team duties but for whom first team match experience is likely to be beneficial for their development but this has been extended to RFL Championship, Championship teams dual registering with League 1 (rugby league), League 1 clubs. Million Pound Game (stylized as £1M Game) was an annual playoff final rugby league game that decides which Championship team will be promoted to Super League the following season. Between 2015 and 2018, the game was played as part of The Qualifiers until the 2019 league restructure when it became the final of the top 5 playoff series. The name alludes to the higher level of funding Super League clubs receive.
