Wild (2016 Film)
''Wild'' is a 2016 German drama film directed by Nicolette Krebitz. It was shown in the World Cinema Dramatic Competition section at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Plot The protagonist, a young woman named Ania, lives in seclusion in a prefabricated housing estate in Halle-Neustadt. At her job as an IT specialist in an advertising agency, she is harassed by her tyrannical boss Boris, who at the same time is attracted to her. One day, on her way home from work, Ania meets a wolf in a park. The encounter with the wild animal triggers a strong attraction to Ania. Her thoughts are increasingly circling around the wolf, which she is trying to approach by crying about him at night, buying meat or even living rabbits for food. Nicolette Krebitz
Nicolette Krebitz is a German director, actress, model, and singer. She is often credited as Coco in her creative works. Life and work Nicolette Krebitz made her film debut at age eleven. Later, she hosted television and radio shows for children and attended the Ballett-Centre Berlin and the Fritz-Kirchhoff acting school, also in Berlin. Krebitz has appeared in over 30 movies, but she is known best for her role in the German-language films ''Bandits'' (1997) and '' Der Tunnel'' (2001). Halle-Neustadt
Halle-Neustadt (; popularly known as ''HaNeu'' , like Hanoi) was a city in the German Democratic Republic (East Germany). It was established as a new town on 12 May 1967, as an independent and autonomous city. The population in 1972 was 51,600 and in 1981 was more than 93,000.
