Wikmani Poisid (TV Series)
''Wikmani poisid'' (lit. ''Wikman Boys'') is a 1995-year television drama serial about the Wikman Private Gymnasium students from 1937 till their mobilization in 1944. The series is based on a 1988 novel '' Wikmani poisid'' by Jaan Kross. The series were first aired in 1995 on Estonia's Eesti Televisioon. Each episode runs at approximately 30 minutes. The show was created by Hugo Ader, Andres Maimik, Anu Soolep and Vilja Nyholm-Palm. DVD was published in the 2003. Meelis Pai
Meelis Pai (born on 9 February 1968 in Tartu) is an Estonian theatre leader and theatre producer and occasional actor. In 1996 he graduated from Tallinn Pedagogical University in theatre management speciality ( et, näitejuhtimine). From 2000 until 2013, he was the head of NUKU Theatre. Since 2015 he is the artistical leader of Salme Cultural Centre. He has participated on several television series, including the roles of Kristjan Koorman in '' Wikmani poisid'' (1994) and Toomas in ''Kelgukoerad'' (2007). Madis Kalmet (born 27 January 1955, in Tallinn) is an Estonian actor and theatre director. In 1980 he graduated from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Tallinn State Conservatory's Stage Art Department. 1980-1985 he was an actor, and 1985-1988 principal stage manager of Rakvere Theatre. 1989-1992 he was an actor, and 1992-1999 the theatre director of Endla Theatre. She graduated from the Tallinn Polytechnical Institute of Economics in 1969 and the Tallinn State Conservatory (now, the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre) in 1974. Rudolf Allabert (3 September 1939 Gatchina, Leningrad Oblast – 10 March 2011 Tallinn) was an Estonian actor, director and theatrical pedagogue. Until 1961 he worked at Rakvere Theatre. Ardo Ran Varres (born 19 March 1974 in Tallinn) is an Estonian composer and actor. Career Ardo Ran Varres studied at the Tallinn Music High School from 1981–1992, graduated in clarinet performance, and at the Higher Theatre School of Estonian Academy of Music from 1992–1996, graduated as an actor.
