Finger Eleven is a Canadian rock band from Burlington, Ontario, formed in 1990. They have released seven studio albums (six as Finger Eleven and one as Rainbow Butt Monkeys), with their album '' The Greyest of Blue Skies'' bringing them into the mainstream. Their 2003 self-titled album achieved Gold status in the United States and Platinum in Canada, largely from the success of the single " One Thing", which marked the band's first placing on the US Hot 100 Chart at number 16. Post-grunge is a derivative of grunge that has a less abrasive or intense tone than traditional grunge. Wind-up Entertainment was an American independent record label founded by Alan and Diana Meltzer in 1997. It was based in New York City and was distributed by BMG Distribution. Wind-up's best-selling artists worldwide were Creed and Evanescence. "Living in a Dream" is the first single from Canadian alternative rock band Finger Eleven's sixth album, ''Life Turns Electric''. It was released in August 2010. This song, along with "Paralyzer" from their last album, has a "dance-rock" feel to the track. The song failed to be as big a hit internationally as the last album's lead single, "Paralyzer" was, failing to hit the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 in the United States and reaching the top five on any rock format.
