''What's Your Pleasure?'' is the fourth studio album by English singer-songwriter Jessie Ware, released on 26 June 2020 by PMR Records and Virgin EMI Records. Ware and co-producer James Ford co-wrote all tracks, along with writers and producers Benji B, Joseph Mount, Kindness, Morgan Geist, Matthew Tavares and Midland. The album received widespread critical acclaim. It was also a commercial success, earning Ware her first top-three entry and, to date, her highest peak position on both the UK Albums Chart and Scottish Albums Chart. Five singles have been released to promote the album. In April 2021, ''What's Your Pleasure?'' was nominated for Album of the Year at the Brit Awards. A reissue subtitled ''The Platinum Pleasure Edition'', was released on 11 June 2021 and preceded by the singles "Please" and "Hot n Heavy". Jessie Ware
Jessica Lois Ware (born 15 October 1984) is an English singer, songwriter and broadcaster. Ware came to prominence following the release of her debut studio album, ''Devotion'' (2012), which peaked at number five on the UK Albums Chart, produced the single " Wildest Moments", and was shortlisted for the Mercury Prize. In 2013, Ware was nominated for the Brit Award for Best New Artist. Her second studio album, ''Tough Love'' (2014), reached number nine in the UK and produced the songs "Tough Love" and " Say You Love Me", which was followed by her third studio album, ''Glasshouse'' (2017), which reached number seven in the UK. ''Glasshouse'' is the third studio album by English singer-songwriter Jessie Ware. It was released on 20 October 2017 through Island Records. The album was supported by the singles " Midnight", " Selfish Love" and " Alone". Background Commenting on the creation process, Ware elaborated that she "really tried to rush this record" because she wanted to finish the album before having her first baby in September 2016, and "was being led by other people in the songwriting rooms, more than I was leading" as she was pregnant when the album was being written. 2021 Brit Awards
Brit Awards 2021, the 41st edition of the annual Brit Awards, was the UK's first major indoor live music event in more than a year. UK Albums Chart
The Official Albums Chart is a list of albums ranked by physical and digital sales and (from March 2015) audio streaming in the United Kingdom. It was published for the first time on 22 July 1956 and is compiled every week by the Official Charts Company (OCC) on Fridays (previously Sundays). It is broadcast on BBC Radio 1 (top 5) and found on the OCC website as a Top 100 or on UKChartsPlus as a Top 200, with positions continuing until all sales have been tracked in data only available to industry insiders. However, even though number 100 was classed as a hit album (as in the case of The Guinness Book of British Hit Albums) in the 1980s until January 1989, since the compilations were removed this definition was changed to Top 75 with follow-up books such as The Virgin Book of British Hit Albums book only including this data. Midland is a British DJ, producer and record label owner based in London, UK. Real name Harry Agius, he founded his label Graded in 2013 as an output for his own productions. Biography Real name Harry Agius, Midland grew up in Tanzania and Greece and attended University in Leeds. In 2003, Agius heard a drum and bass mix tape of Andy C at Slammin' Vinyl, inspiring him to learn the craft of DJing. An avid drum and bass fan, he purchased his first set of Technics turntables and upon moving to Leeds was offered a graveyard slot on the Leeds' local Pirate radio station 'Radio Frequency' under his first moniker, Apt Pupil.
