''What's Wright? with Nick Wright'' (sometimes capitalized ''What's Wright? With Nick Wright'') is an American sports podcast and YouTube series. Hosted by sportscaster Nick Wright and co-hosted by his son Damonza Byrd, the series premiered on March 15, 2022. Development and history Prior to signing with Fox Sports 1 (FS1) and hosting ''First Things First'' (''FTF''), Nick Wright was the host of ''What's Wright with Nick Wright?'', a radio show on the Kansas City-based 610 Sports station. After departing the station, Wright relocated to Houston, while continuing to work in sports radio, before working on television for FS1. From 2018 to 2020, Wright hosted another incarnation of his ''What's Wright with Nick Wright?'' radio show, this time on Sirius XM's Mad Dog Radio station. Nick Wright (sportscaster)
Nick Wright (born October 3, 1984) is an American sports television personality and sports radio talk show host. Wright currently serves as a co-host on Fox Sports 1's '' First Things First'' (''FTF'') alongside Kevin Wildes and Chris Broussard. Early years Nick Wright was born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended Syracuse University's S. I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, graduating with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2007. While at Syracuse, he worked at WAER-FM as Sports Director. Shortly after graduating, he was a contestant on ''Who Wants to Be a Millionaire''. AllHipHop is a hip hop news website founded by Greg Watkins and Chuck Creekmur in 1998. History The website was founded in 1998 by Greg Watkins and Chuck Creekmur. In 1997, Watkins registered the allhiphop.com domain to promote the artists on Oblique Recordings, a small record label he operated. The website provided music downloads to promote the label's artists. After reaching 30,000 downloads a month, Watkins struck deals with eMusic and other retailers to sell downloads. Creekmur, a freelance journalist, had launched a website, tantrum-online.com, in New York City. After merging the companies, they adapted Trantrum's exclamation point logo for AllHipHop.
