Wendy Ward
Wendy Ward (born May 6, 1973) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. Early life, education and amateur career Ward was born in San Antonio, Texas. She attended Arizona State University where she had a successful National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) career. She was a two-time Honda Sports Award winner, a three-time first team All-American, the Pac-10 Champion in 1993 and 1995 and led ASU to team titles in 1993, 1994 and 1995. She graduated in 1995 with a degree in business Management. In 1994, she won the U.S. Women's Amateur and represented the U.S. in the Curtis Cup, the biennial team competition between amateur golfers from the United States and those from Great Britain and Ireland. Women's British Open
The Women's Open (originally known as the Women's British Open, and still widely referred to by that name outside the UK) is a women's major golf championships, major championship in Professional golf tours#Women's tours, women's professional golf. Juli Inkster (born Juli Simpson; June 24, 1960) is an American professional golfer who plays on the LPGA Tour. With a professional career spanning 29 years to date, Inkster's 31 wins rank her second in wins among all active players on the LPGA Tour; she has over $14 million in career earnings. She also has more wins in Solheim Cup matches than any other American, and is a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame. 2005 LPGA Tour
The 2005 LPGA Tour was a series of weekly golf tournaments for elite female golfers from around the world which took place from February through December 2005. The tournaments were sanctioned by the United States-based Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). Total prize money for all tournaments was $45,100,000. Annika Sörenstam
Annika Charlotta Sörenstam (; born 9 October 1970) is a Swedish professional golfer. She is regarded as one of the best female golfers in history. Before stepping away from competitive golf at the end of the 2008 season, she had won 90 international tournaments as a professional, making her the female golfer with the most wins to her name. She has won 72 official LPGA tournaments including ten majors and 24 other tournaments internationally. After turning 50, she came back from her retirement and added a win in the 2021 U.S. Senior Women's Open. The Wendy's Championship for Children was an annual golf tournament for professional female golfers on the LPGA Tour from 1999 through 2006 in the Columbus, Ohio area. The tournament was played at the New Albany Country Club in New Albany, Ohio from 1999 to 2001. In 2002, it moved to Tartan Fields Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio. Proceeds from the event benefited pediatric cancer research and treatment at the Columbus Children's Hospital. From 2000 to 2005, over $2.7 million was raised. Dana Lofland Dormann (born September 16, 1967) is an American professional golfer who played on the LPGA Tour. She also played under her maiden name Dana Lofland and as Dana Lofland-Dormann. Rosie Jones (born November 13, 1959) is an American professional golfer, with 13 LPGA Tour career victories and nearly $8.4 million in tournament earnings. Amateur career Jones was born in Santa Ana, California. In her amateur career, she was a three time New Mexico Junior Champion (1974–76) and won the New Mexico State Championship in 1979. Jones attended Ohio State University where in 1981 she was an AIAW All-American.
