''Welcome to Galvania'' is the fifth studio album by American rock band Puddle of Mudd. This is their first studio album of new material in a decade since 2009's '' Volume 4: Songs in the Key of Love & Hate'', marking the longest gap between two studio albums in Puddle of Mudd's career. It is also their first release of any new material since 2011's '' re:(disc)overed'', a compilation album of covers. ''Welcome to Galvania'' was released worldwide September 13, 2019. ''Loudwire'' named it one of the 50 best rock albums of 2019. Background and release After the group finished touring in support for their 2011 compilation album '' re:(disc)overed'', over the course of the next few years lead singer Wes Scantlin had multiple run-ins with the law and multiple arrests. These strings of bad behavior occurred during many shows too, some where Wes would not show at all or was too intoxicated to perform. Puddle of Mudd is an American rock band formed in Kansas City, Missouri in 1992. To date, the band has sold over seven million albums and has had a string of No. 1 mainstream rock singles in the United States. Dave Moreno
David Moreno is an American musician, singer, audio engineer, songwriter and producer, best known for his role as the drummer in the American rock band Puddle of Mudd. Early life and education Born in Sun Valley, Los Angeles, California, Moreno is of Mexican descent. He first started playing drums when he was only 11, and at just 15 years old, Moreno was already performing his first gig at the famous iconic Whisky a Go Go nightclub on the Sunset Strip in Hollywood, California. Moreno's musical education continued when he attended The Dick Grove School of Music upon completing high school. Tantric (band)
Tantric is an American rock band from Louisville, Kentucky. The group was founded in 1998 by Todd Whitener, Jesse Vest and Matt Taul after they left Days of the New, and joined forces with vocalist Hugo Ferreira. Wesley Reid Scantlin (born June 9, 1972) is an American singer, songwriter, and musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist, and only constant member of rock band Puddle of Mudd. He was named one of the "Top 100 Heavy Metal Vocalists" by ''Hit Parader''. Career Scantlin formed Puddle of Mudd in 1991. They released their debut EP '' Stuck'' in 1994, followed by a demo album called ''Abrasive'' in 1997.
