Edward Coyle
Edward J. Coyle is an American paralympic weightlifter. He competed at the 1972, 1976 and 1980 Summer Paralympics. Biography Coyle was born in Lansdowne, Pennsylvania. He contracted polio at the age of two. He attended Monsignor Bonner High School, where he was on the football and rowing teams before taking up weightlifting. He attended West Chester University, earning a PhD in 1977. Coyle competed at the 1972 Summer Paralympics, winning the gold medal in the men's middleweight weightlifting. At the 1976 Summer Paralympics Coyle won the gold medal in the men's lightweight event. He scored 177.5 pounds. Vic Renalson
Victor "Vic" Allen Renalson, MBE (1926/1927 – July 1998) was an Australian athlete, weightlifter, and track and field coach. He won ten medals at four Paralympics from 1964 to 1976, and worked as a track and field coach for both Olympic and Paralympic athletes. Personal life Renalson became a paraplegic after a car accident in 1951 at the age of 23. He was working as a fitter and Turner and was driving to North Queensland to work on a sugarcane plantation when the steering on his car failed near Sarina. The car hit a bridge and he was thrown to a dry creek bed. He was married to Laurel, a former Queensland netballer and Australian walking champion, who died in 1992. He died in July 1998 on Queensland's Sunshine Coast at the age of 71. Ralph Emanuel Rowe (July 14, 1924 – February 29, 1996) was an American outfielder and manager in minor league baseball, and a coach at the Major League level. A native of Newberry, South Carolina, Rowe threw right-handed, batted left-handed, stood tall and weighed . Richard Tauber (16 May 1891 – 8 January 1948) was an Austrian tenor and film actor.
