We've All Been There
''We've All Been There'' is the debut solo album by American singer-songwriter Alex Band, best known for being the former lead vocalist and songwriter of rock band The Calling. The album was released on June 29, 2010, through Band's own label, AMB Records, in a distribution deal with EMI Records. The album was delayed numerous times since recording was originally completed back in 2007. Band had initially signed a deal with Geffen Records, but later ventured onto his own label after eventually buying back the rights to the master tapes after Geffen had gone through major restructuring. Lead single "Tonight", was released along with a music video on February 15, 2010. Alexander Max Band (born June 8, 1981) is an American singer, songwriter, musician, record producer and actor. He is best known for being the vocalist of Los Angeles rock band the Calling, having performed on their hit song "Wherever You Will Go", which topped the Adult Top 40 for 23 weeks, making it the second-longest-running number 1 in the chart's history and later named the number 1 song of the decade of the 2000s on the Adult Pop Charts by ''Billboard'' magazine. ''Two'' (stylized as ''II'') is the second studio album by American alternative rock band the Calling, released on June 8, 2004 (vocalist Alex Band's 23rd birthday) through RCA Records. The record only features original members Band and guitarist Aaron Kamin along with a variety of session musicians. The album deals with romantic love and relationships. Despite radio-friendly singles and relentless touring by the band, the album was viewed by many as under-promoted by the label and a commercial disappointment compared to the success of their first album. Reception "Our Lives" was a minor hit, but the album was not as successful as their debut album ''Camino Palmero'' with sales totaling two million worldwide. Johnny Loftus at AllMusic, who gave it one and half out of five stars, said the album is "never adding enough of anything to be memorable or personal", and, that it is "the alternative to having an opinion." Chris Lord-Alge
Chris Lord-Alge is an American mix engineer. He is the brother of both Tom Lord-Alge and Jeff Lord-Alge, both of whom are also audio engineers. Chris and Tom are known for their abundant use of dynamic compression for molding mixes that play well on small speakers and FM radio. Tim Pierce (born 1959 in Albuquerque) is an American session guitarist. He has worked for artists such as Joe Cocker, Crowded House, Goo Goo Dolls, Michael Jackson, Beth Hart, Roger Waters, Alice Cooper, Johnny Hallyday, Phil Collins, and the Cheetah Girls. Abe Laboriel Jr
Abraham Laboriel Jr. (born March 23, 1971) is an American session drummer. He is the son of Mexican bass guitarist Abraham Laboriel, nephew of Mexican rocker Johnny Laboriel, and brother of record producer, songwriter, and film composer Mateo Laboriel.
