''We'll Take Care of the Teachers'' (german: Wir haun die Pauker in die Pfanne) is a 1970 West German comedy film directed by Harald Reinl and starring Uschi Glas, Hansi Kraus and Fritz Wepper. It was the fifth in a series of school-set films. The film was shot at the Bavaria Studios in Munich and on location in Baden-Baden amongst other places. Harald Reinl
Harald Reinl (8 July 1908 in Bad Ischl, Austria – 9 October 1986 in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Spain) was an Austrian film director. He is known for the films he made based on Edgar Wallace and Karl May books (see Karl May movies and Edgar Wallace movies) and also made mountain films, Heimatfilms, German war films and entries in such popular German film series as ''Dr. Mabuse'', '' Jerry Cotton'' and ''Kommissar X''. Reinl began his career as an extra in the mountain films of Arnold Fanck. He worked as screenwriter on the film '' Tiefland'' directed by and starring Leni Riefenstahl. Reinl's first movie as director was the mountain film '' Mountain Crystal'' (1949). He was Oscar nominated for his documentary feature ''Chariots of the Gods'' (1970). By the 1970s, he had semi-retired to the Canary Islands. Ruth Stephan
Ruth Stephan (27 October 1925 – 8 August 1975) was a German film and stage actress. She appeared with Heinz Erhardt in the 'Willi' series of films. Biography Ruth Stephan was born to retail merchant Kurt Stephan and his wife, Kriemhilde. After graduating from school, she first worked as a certified bank teller before taking acting lessons. During her early acting career, she worked mostly on the stage in Germany, including theaters in Hamburg and Berlin. She appeared in her first movie in 1951, and subsequently became a popular figure in German comedy movies. Most notably she appeared in numerous movies alongside Heinz Erhardt, often playing his wife or secretary. She also became popular for portraying an English and biology teacher in the late 1960s high school movie series ''Die Lümmel von der ersten Bank'' (English translation: ''The buggers from the first bench''). Theo Lingen (; 10 June 1903 – 10 November 1978), born Franz Theodor Schmitz, was a German actor, film director and screenwriter. He appeared in more than 230 films between 1929 and 1978, and directed 21 films between 1936 and 1960. Life and career Lingen was born the son of a lawyer in the city of Hanover, and grew up there. He attended the Royal Goethe Gymnasium – the predecessor of the Goethe School – in Hanover, but left before taking the Abitur (final exams). His theatrical talent was discovered during rehearsals for a school performance at the ''Schauburg'' boulevard theatre. Beginning his professional stage career, the young actor adopted as a stage name his middle name together with that of the birthplace of his father, Lingen in the North German Emsland region. Jutta Speidel (; born 26 March 1954) is a German actress. She had her first television role at the age of 15. Jutta Speidel appeared in ''Schulmadchen Report 1'' (1970), which was directed by Ernst Hofbauer and produced by Wolf C. Hartwig. Monika Dahlberg (born 30 April 1936) is a German singer, and film and television actress. She studied in Kiel as an actress and opera singer. In 1957 she signed a three-year contract with Constantin Film, and featured in several comedies and heimatfilm. From the 1960s onwards she increasingly appeared on television as well. Dahlberg also worked as a voice actress, dubbing foreign films for release in German market. Her brother Wolfgang Rödelberger was a composer. She was married to the actor Klaus Kindler.
