Wayne's World (video Game)
''Wayne's World'' is an action video game based on the film of the same name and released in 1993 by THQ. Different versions of the game were released; the NES and Game Boy games were developed by Radical Entertainment and feature both protagonists Wayne and Garth as playable characters. The Super NES and Sega Mega Drive/Genesis games were developed by Gray Matter and feature only Wayne as a playable character. Gameplay and premise NES The NES version keeps true to the plot of the original film, as the premise involves Wayne and Garth trying to stop a rich producer from buying their public access television show. The first level takes place at Kramer's Music Store, where Wayne fights several sentient instruments to obtain the Excallbur, such as guitars, drums, cymbals, saxophone, trumpets, and stacks of Barry Manilow records. SNES-CD
The Super NES CD-ROM System (commonly shortened as the SNES-CD), known as Super Famicom CD-ROM Adapter in Japan, is an unreleased video game peripheral for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES). The add-on built upon the functionality of the cartridge-based SNES by adding support for a CD-ROM-based format known as Super Disc. The SNES-CD platform was developed in a joint venture between Nintendo and Sony. ''Super Play'' was a British Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) magazine which ran from 1 October 1992 to September 1996.
