The Waychinicup River is located in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Manypeaks
Manypeaks is a town located 434 km south-east of Perth and 38 km north-east of Albany in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. The township is on the South Coast Highway close to the intersection with Howie Road. The closest towns to Manypeaks are both on the South Coast highway and are Albany to the south-west and Wellstead to the east. The town lies close to the three lakes of the Lake Pleasant View System Important Bird Area. South Coast Highway
South Coast Highway is a Western Australian highway. It is a part of the Highway 1 network. With a length of , it runs from Esperance to Walpole roughly in parallel to Western Australia's south coast. Even then the journey is pretty much inland. Approximately from Ravensthorpe lies the Fitzgerald River National Park with beaches, coastal and mountain walking trails and wildflowers. There are three more national parks with abundant wildlife along the journey to Walpole. Albany is a former whaling town and is rich in history. Mount Manypeaks (Western Australia)
Mount Manypeaks is a distinctive peak located approximately north-east of Albany, north-east of Two Peoples Bay and south-east of the town of Manypeaks, in Western Australia. Mount Manypeaks Nature Reserve lies to the south of the peak, extending along the coast. History The mountain is the dominant feature in the area and was named by Captain Matthew Flinders in January 1802 whilst surveying the south coast region in HMS ''Investigator''. Waychinicup National Park
Waychinicup National Park is in Western Australia, southeast of Perth and east of Albany, along the coast of the Southern Ocean. Location and description The park is bordered by the Southern Ocean to the south, Mount Manypeaks Nature Reserve to the east, and agricultural land to the north. Its coastline runs between Normans Beach and Cheynes Beach, near Bremer Bay. The park offers and array of landscapes, from the rugged coast to boulder-strewn hilltops. Tree-filled, deeply-incised valleys have freshwater streams flowing through them, with moss-covered boulders. Facilities provided include a camping area and bush toilet near the inlet of the Waychinicup River. Bald Island Nature Reserve is located offshore nearby. The city centre is at the northern edge of Princess Royal Harbour, which is a part of King George Sound. The central business district is bounded by Mount Clarence to the east and Mount Melville to the west. The city is in the local government area of the City of Albany.
