Piscines Bernat Picornell
Piscines Bernat Picornell ( en, Bernat Picornell Pools) is a swimming venue situated in the Olympic Ring in Montjuïc, Barcelona. The venue consists of three swimming pools: a 50m indoor pool, a 50m outdoor pool, and a pool for diving. It hosted the swimming events, synchronized swimming events, the water polo final, and the swimming part of the modern pentathlon event for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The swimming pools are for public use and are open all year long. History The venue, named after the Catalan swimmer and founder of the Spanish Swimming Federation Bernat Picornell i Richier, was built to host the 1970 European Aquatics Championships. In 1990, refurbishment works began for the 1992 Olympics; the main changes were that the training pool was covered and that temporary grandstands were installed, boosting the capacity to more than 10,000 spectators. Vido ( el, Βίδο) is an island of the Ionian Islands group of Greece. It is a small island (less than a kilometer in diameter) at the mouth of the port of Corfu. History The island was known to the ancients as Ptychia ( grc, Πτυχία). At some point, during the Peloponnesian war, Athenian generals used Ptychia in order to keep in custody some prisoners. Miloš Šćepanović
Miloš Šćepanović ( sr-cyrl, Милош Шћепановић; born October 9, 1982) is a Montenegrin water polo player. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. There the team reached the semifinals, where it was defeated by Hungary and then met Serbia in the bronze medal match. They were defeated with the score 6:4 for Serbia and finished in 4th place. He was also a member of the Montenegrin team at the 2012 Summer Olympics. Montenegro again reached the semi-finals, losing to Croatia, and then were again defeated by Serbia in the bronze medal match. The score was 12:11 for Serbia. Predrag Jokić ( sr-cyrl, Предраг Јокић; born 3 February 1983 in Kotor) is a Montenegrin 1.88 m tall water polo player. He is a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics, 2012 Summer Olympics, and the 2016 Summer Olympics.In 2003 he won the gold medal with Serbia and Montenegro at the European Championship in Kranj,Slovenia. Aleksandar Ivović, (born 24 February 1986) is a Montenegrin professional water polo player. He started his career at PVK Jadran, which is his first senior team to compete for. He was a member of the Montenegro men's national water polo team at the 2008 Summer Olympics. The team reached the semifinals, where they were defeated by Hungary and then lost to Serbia in the bronze medal match. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he was again a member of Montenegro's team, where they lost to Croatia in the semi-final, and then lost to Serbia again in the bronze medal match, this time 11–12. Nikola Janović ( sr-cyrl, Никола Јановић; born 22 March 1980, in Kotor) is a Montenegrin water polo player and the former Minister of Sports and Youth of Montenegro. He was one of the best water polo player in the world. Mlađan Janović
Mlađan Janović ( sr-cyrl, Млађан Јановић; born 12 June 1984 in Kotor, SR Montenegro, Yugoslavia) is a Montenegrin water polo player. He currently plays for AN Brescia and he is a long-standing member of the Montenegrin national water polo team. He was part of the Montenegro national team that was crowned European Champion at the 2008 European Championship in Málaga. Career At club level, he played for his local club VK Primorac Kotor and was also a member of Pro Recco, Olympiacos, CN Marseille and RN Savona. Ugo Crousillat ( cnr, Igo Kruzija (born 27 October 1990) is a water polo player from France. He was part of the French team at the 2016 Summer Olympics, where the team was eliminated in the group stage. Before French, he was a member of Montenegro's national team.
