Tibor Benedek
Tibor Benedek (12 July 1972 – 18 June 2020) was a Hungarian water polo player and coach, widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He played on the gold medal squads at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics. Benedek also competed at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics, where the Hungarian team placed 6th and 4th, respectively. Benedek was the head coach of Hungary men's national water polo team between 2013 and 2016. Benedek was named ''Hungarian Water Polo Player of the Year'' in 1992, 1993 and 1994. He made his debut for the national side in 1990. His father, Miklós Benedek, is an actor. Tony Azevedo
Anthony Lawrence Azevedo (born November 21, 1981) is a Brazilian-born American water polo player. He is a 2008 Olympic silver medalist and a five-time Olympian (2000, 2004, 2008, 2012, 2016). Azevedo ranks fourth on the all-time scoring list in Olympic history, with 61 goals. Nicknamed "The Savior" at one point, he is considered to be one of the best American water polo players in recent memory. He was the former captain of the U.S. National Men's Water Polo Team. Ronald Layne Beaubien (born July 4, 1976) is an American water polo player. He was a member of the United States men's national water polo team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Rick Merlo (born August 5, 1982) is an American water polo player. He was a member of the United States men's national water polo team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the championship game, the USA team won the silver medal, defeated by Hungary. Merlo was born in Fresno, California. High school CIF Champion at Buchanan High School in 1997 and 2000. Adam Wright (water Polo)
Adam Wright (born May 4, 1977) is an American water polo player and a college water polo head coach. He was a member of the United States men's national water polo team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. In the championship game, the USA team won the silver medal, defeated by Hungary. On June 3, 2009, Wright was named the head coach of the UCLA Bruins men's water polo team, having served as its men's and women's water polo team assistant coach. College Wright attended UCLA and played water polo for the NCAA championship team. During his years at UCLA, his team won back-to-back NCAA championships in 1999 and 2000. During his senior year, he was named as honorable mention on the All-America team and was on the All-MPSF second-team for his 39 goals on 76 attempts. Merrill M. Moses (born August 13, 1977) is a United States Olympic silver medalist, three-time Olympian, and three-time Pan American Games gold medalist water polo goalkeeper. He played college water polo for Pepperdine University, where he was an All-American and helped lead the team to the 1997 NCAA Men's Water Polo Championship. Tamás Molnár (born August 2, 1975) is a Hungarian former water polo player, who played on the gold medal squads at the 2000 Summer Olympics, 2004 Summer Olympics and 2008 Summer Olympics.
