Heavy metal (or simply metal) is a genre of rock music that developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, largely in the United Kingdom and United States. Squeeze Box (song)
"Squeeze Box" is a song by The Who from their album ''The Who by Numbers.'' Written by Pete Townshend, the lyrics are couched in sexual double entendres. Unlike many of the band's other hits, the song features country-like elements, as heard in Townshend's guitar fingerpicking. "Squeeze Box" was a commercial success, peaking at No. 10 on the UK Singles Chart and No. 16 in the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100. The song is also their only international number-one hit, reaching No. 1 in Canada, and No. 2 on the Irish singles chart. Background "Squeeze Box" was originally intended for a Who television special planned in 1974. Richard Allan Ream (born August 8, 1961), better known by the stage name Rikki Rockett, is an American drummer for rock band Poison. The band has sold more than 50 million albums worldwide and 15 million records in the United States alone. Biography Richard Allan Ream was born on August 8, 1961, in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, the youngest of two children of Norman and Margaret Ream. He attended Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill. Before founding Poison with vocalist Bret Michaels, Rockett worked as a hairdresser, lifeguard, dishwasher, emergency medical technician and a suit salesman. "Fallen Angel" is the second single from '' Open Up and Say...Ahh!'', American glam metal band Poison's second studio album. The B-side of the seven inch was "Bad to Be Good". Background Released as a single in 1988 on Capitol Records, the track reached #12 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 and #32 on the Mainstream rock charts and has since gone Gold in the US. This made it the only single from the album not to reach the Top Ten. It also charted at number 21 on the Australian charts and number 59 on the UK Singles chart. Sherman Oaks is a neighborhood in the city of Los Angeles, California located in the San Fernando Valley, founded in 1927. The neighborhood includes a portion of the Santa Monica Mountains, which gives Sherman Oaks a lower population density than some other areas in Los Angeles.
