Warora
Warora is a city and municipal council in Chandrapur district in the Indian state of Maharashtra. During the British Raj, the town was part of the Central Provinces and was a coal-mining center. The work place of famous social worker Baba Amte, "Anandwan" is situated in Warora. History The story of Tata Steel is a century old and Sir Jamsetji Tata had idea of starting a steel plant near Warora region. At the age of forty-three in 1882, Jamsetji read a report by a German geologist, Ritter von Schwartz, that the best situated deposits of iron ore were in Chandrapur district in the Central provinces, not far from Nagpur where he worked. They area named was Lohara, after the iron ore deposits nearby. In the vicinity, Warora had deposits of coal. 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly Election
The 2019 Maharashtra Legislative Assembly election was held on 21 October 2019 to elect all 288 members of the state's Legislative Assembly. After a 61.4% turnout in the election, the ruling National Democratic Alliance (NDA) of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena (SHS) won a majority. Following differences over the government formation, the alliance was dissolved, precipitating a political crisis. Shiv Sena ( IAST: ''Śiva Sēnā'') () was a right-wing to far-right Marathi regionalist and Hindu ultranationalist political party in India founded in 1966 by cartoonist Bal Thackeray. Originally emerging from nativist movements in Bombay (present-day Mumbai), the party agitated for preferential treatment for the Marathi people over migrants from other parts of India. Suresh Dhanorkar
Suresh Narayan Dhanorkar, also called Balubhau Dhanorkar or Balu Dhanorkar, was an Indian politician who was the elected member of the Lok Sabha from Chandrapur constituency. He was a member of the Indian National Congress political party. He was the only candidate for the INC to be elected as MP from Maharashtra. He was nominated as the Lok Sabha candidate after resigning as MLA from Shiv Sena and had joined the Indian National Congress Party. Political career In 2006, Dhanorkar became the Shiv Sena president for the Chandrapur District. In 2014 he became the Shiv Sena MLA from Warora-Bhadrawati.
