Warning (German Band)
Warning was a German electronic music band founded in 1982. They are best known for their 1982 single "Why Can the Bodies Fly", which was featured in a 1983 episode of the TV series ''Tatort'' History Edgar Schlepper, owner of a music store, and Hans Müller, who worked for a record label, created several songs during a joint jam session on a guitar synthesizer , which were compiled on their debut album ''Warning'' in 1982. The two musicians used the pseudonyms Ed Vanguard (Schlepper) and Mike Yonder (Müller). The recordings for the album were performed by the former Rattles drummer Dicky Tarrach, while the background vocals came from two former singers of the Les Humphries Singers. The lyrics for "Why Can the Bodies Fly" were written by the Spaniard Ines Gaim, while the other lyrics were written by Jürgen Barz. Les Humphries Singers
The Les Humphries Singers was a 1970s pop group formed in Hamburg, Germany in 1969 by the English-born Les Humphries. The group had several chart hits in Germany and in other European countries. The Les Humphries Singers dissolved at the end of the 1970s and Humphries moved back to England. Members Les Humphries was born John Leslie Humphreys on 10 August 1940 in Croydon, Surrey, England. In 1969 he formed the group in Hamburg, Germany. The group consisted of a large number of singers of diverse ethnic origin, some of whom such as John Lawton also performed with other groups. ''Dirty Rhymes & Psychotronic Beats'' is an EP of the Austrian death metal band Pungent Stench. It was originally released on April 7, 1993 on Nuclear Blast. It contains a couple of new songs, two covers and two remixes of the "Blood, Pus, and Gastric Juice" song, taken off the debut album '' For God Your Soul... For Me Your Flesh''. The EP featured a rather controversial cover which was banned in many countries. Hence, three versions of the cover had been created, each of various degrees of censorship. Australian CD version includes one bonus track (Daddy Cruel). The song "Why Can the Bodies Fly" is a Warning cover song. Warning was from Germany and played EBM, originally it was a soundtrack on the popular German thriller TV series Tatort for the episode "Peggy hat Angst". Pungent Stench is a death metal band from Vienna, Austria, formed in 1988. Their last known lineup consists of Martin Schirenc (vocals/guitar), Danny Vacuum (vocals/bass), and Mike G. Mayhem (drums). Pungent Stench achieved early on prominence in the death metal scene due to their unique style of extreme metal and their controversial lyrical content, a seamless blend of gore, paraphilia and black comedy. They dissolved in 1995, re-formed in 1999, then split up again 2007 after recording a final studio album, eventually released in 2018, and re-formed again in 2013.
