Wang Min (born 1950)
Wang Min (; born March 1950) is a former politician of the People's Republic of China. He successively served as Communist Party Secretary of Liaoning province, Party Secretary and Governor of Jilin province, and Vice Governor of Jiangsu province. Once considered a promising future leader in the Communist Party, Wang retired from his provincial leadership positions in 2015, before coming under investigation for corruption in 2016. He was sentenced to life in prison upon being convicted on charges of bribery and dereliction of duty. A native of Huainan, Anhui province, Wang has a doctoral degree in in Machinery Manufacturing from Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and was a professor and vice president of the university. Wang Min (born 1956)
Wang Min (; born November 1956) is a Chinese politician from eastern China's Shandong province. He served as the Communist Party Secretary of Jinan, the top political position in the provincial capital, between 2011 and 2014. In December 2014 Wang was placed under investigation by the Communist Party's anti-corruption agency. Wang was the first provincial-ministerial official from Shandong province to be investigated in the province since the nationwide anti-graft campaign began in 2012. Wang was an alternate member of the 18th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party. Biography Wang was born and raised in Jiyang County, Shandong. Min Kingdom
Min () was one of the Ten Kingdoms which was in existence between the years of 909 and 945. It existed in a mountainous region of modern-day Fujian province of China and had a history of quasi-independent rule. Its capital was Fuzhou. It was founded by Wang Shenzhi. Founding Wang Shenzhi’s older brother Wang Chao was given the title of Surveillance Commissioner in 892. Wang Shenzhi himself was named military commissioner, and in 909, in the wake of the collapse of the Tang Dynasty two years earlier, named himself the Prince of Min.
