Adrian von Ziegler (; born 25 December 1989) is a Swiss composer from Zurich, Switzerland. He gained popularity on the video-sharing website YouTube, where his channel has over 1,000,000 subscribers as of May 2021. He composes instrumental music with a variety of Celtic Music, Emotional Music, Relaxing Music, Dark Music, Oriental Music, Fantasy Music, Movie Scores, Metal and many other genres. Adrian von Ziegler started using a "very old keyboard" and Magix Music Maker to compose his music. He still has this keyboard, but now mainly uses Cubase. "Po dikim stepyam Zabaikalya" () is a Russian folk song, also known as "Brodyaga" (). It was published and recorded at the beginning of the 20th century and has since become part of the repertoire of various Russian and foreign artists. History According to popular belief, the song was composed by convicts in Siberia towards the end of the 19th century. The revolutionary Ivan Belokonsky insisted, though, that it was known in Siberia in the 1880s, but there was no indication of the author of the lyrics. According to Ivan Nazarov (and Alexander Smolik), Ivan Kondratyev was the author of the lyrics, although the poem is not included in the latter's last published volume of poems, ''Under the noise of the Oak Groves''. In 1906, Swedish composer Wilhelm Harteveld also collected the song during his trip to Siberia and published it in 1908. The Fantasie in C major, Op. 15 ( D. 760), popularly known as the ''Wanderer Fantasy'', is a four-movement fantasy for solo piano composed by Franz Schubert in 1822. It is widely considered Schubert's most technically demanding composition for the piano. Schubert himself said "the devil may play it," in reference to his own inability to do so properly. Historical background Schubert composed this work in late 1822, just after breaking off work on the Unfinished Symphony while sketching its incomplete scherzo. It was written for and dedicated to Carl Emanuel Liebenberg von Zsittin, who had studied piano with Johann Nepomuk Hummel, in the hope of some remuneration from the dedication. Anselm Hüttenbrenner (13 October 1794 – 5 June 1868) was an Austrian composer. He was on friendly terms with both Ludwig van Beethovenhe was one of only two people known to be present at his bedside at the time of his deathand Franz Schubert, of whom his recollections constitute an interesting but probably unreliable document in Schubertian biographical studies. Life Hüttenbrenner was born in Graz, the son of a wealthy landowner. He attended the Graz Lyzeum, and studied law at the University of Graz, but was also composing music at this time. Pascal Georges Dusapin (born 29 May 1955) is a French composer. His music is marked by its microtonality, tension, and energy. A pupil of Iannis Xenakis and Franco Donatoni and an admirer of Varèse, Dusapin studied at the University of Paris I and Paris VIII during the 1970s. His music is full of "romantic constraint". "Der Wanderer" ( D 489) ormerly D 493is a lied composed by Franz Schubert in October 1816 for voice and piano. A revised version was published near the end of May 1821 as opus 4, number 1. The words are taken from a German poem by Georg Philipp Schmidt (von Lübeck). The lied is set in the key of C-sharp minor with the tempo marking ''sehr langsam'' (very slow) and the time signature alla breve. The piece has a total of 72 measures. Ruth Moody is a Canadian soprano singer-songwriter and member of the folk trio the Wailin' Jennys. Moody was born in Australia and grew up in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, with her parents Charles and Marcelline, older brother Richard (The Bills), older sister Jane and younger sister Rachel. She was trained classically from the age of four, but unlike her sisters and brother she did not take to a stringed instrument and from her mid-teens began to train vocally instead. In 1993 she began to study English and French literature at university with the intent of becoming a teacher like both her parents. She changed her course in 1996 and decided to forge a life in folk music instead.
