Walton Grange No. 1454 is a historic The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry, Grange building located at 137 Stockton Avenue in Walton (village), New York, Walton in Delaware County, New York, Delaware County, New York (state), New York, United States. Designed by architects Randall and Gilbert of Walton and built in 1886, it consists of a two-story administration building with an attached gable roofed drill shed. It was occupied from 1886-1896 by the 33rd Separate Company then vacated in 1896 and converted for use as a school and a Grange hall. Walton is a village in the town of Walton in Delaware County, New York, United States. As of the 2010 census, the village population was 3,088. Walton is the home of the annual Delaware County Fair, which is typically held in August. There are three primary and secondary schools in Walton: Townsend Elementary School, Mack Middle School, and O'Neill High School. Isaac Perry
Isaac Gale Perry (1822–1904), was a prolific New York State architect and Real estate developer, builder. His works include New York State Inebriate Asylum, Monday Afternoon Club, Phelps Mansion and the First National Bank of Oxford. Life and career Born in Bennington, Vermont, Perry was raised and educated in Keeseville, New York, where his parents relocated in 1829. Between 1832 and 1854 he completed an apprenticeship and entered into partnership with his father, Seneca Perry, a shipwright turned carpenter. By 1847, Seneca Perry and Son were advertising locally as carpenter-joiners who undertook masonry work. The Perrys were well known for their skills at constructing spiral staircases, and the younger Perry, according to one biographer, earned a local reputation as an architect before leaving Keeseville.
