Walter Bradley (engineer)
Walter L. Bradley is a retired professor of engineering, old Earth creationist and an advocate of intelligent design. Academic career Bradley taught mechanical engineering at Texas A&M University. He is a professor at Baylor University a private Baptist college in Waco, Texas. Intelligent design Bradley is the co-author, along with Roger Olsen and Charles Thaxton, of ''The Mystery of Life's Origin: Reassessing Current Theories''. This book, published in 1984, presents a creationist interpretation of abiogenesis, attributing it to "Special Creation by a creator beyond the cosmos", and says that Special Creation holds "that the ''source that produced life'' was intelligent". William Dembski has described Bradley as one of the originators of the intelligent design movement, and the book as seminal in the ID movement. Walter Dwight Bradley
Walter Dwight Bradley (born October 30, 1946) is an American politician who served as the 27th lieutenant governor of the U.S. state of New Mexico under Governor Gary Johnson from 1995 through 2003. Career Prior to his election as Lieutenant Governor, Bradley served in the New Mexico State Senate from 1989 to 1994. Bradley was preceded as lieutenant governor by Casey Luna and succeeded by Diane Denish. Bradley ran for Governor of New Mexico in 2002, but was defeated in the Republican primary by state Representative John Sanchez, who lost the general election to Bill Richardson. Lyle Bradley
Walter Lyle Bradley (July 31, 1943 – August 12, 2022) was a Canadian ice hockey centre. He played 6 games in the National Hockey League with the California Golden Seals and Cleveland Barons between 1974 and 1977: four games in 1974 with California, and two in 1977 with Cleveland. The rest of his career, which lasted from 1966 to 1978, was spent in various minor leagues. Walter Bradley (Australian Politician)
Walter Bradley, 1880 Walter Bradley (1 November 1836 – 27 June 1893) was an English-born Australian politician. He was born at Hackney, near London, to Royal Mint assayer George Robert Bradley and Eliza Cave. He arrived in Sydney in 1854 and worked as an auctioneer at Wynyard. In 1859, he co-founded his own firm of Bradley, Norton and Lamb. On 31 March 1859, he married Emily Hobbs. The couple had fifteen children, only one of whom did not survive infancy. He was a long-serving Randwick alderman, being thrice mayor, and was a founder of the Zoological Society of New South Wales and the Moore Park Zoological Gardens. He retired from his auctioneers' firm in 1887 to concentrate on real estate development, building a number of houses in Randwick.
