The governor of South Australia is the representative in South Australia of the Monarch of Australia, currently King Charles III. Ann Woolcock
Ann Janet Woolcock AO FAA FRACP (11 December 1937 – 17 February 2001) was an Australian respiratory physician–scientist and one of the world's leading asthma experts. She contributed greatly to the field of asthma research and founded the Institute of Respiratory Medicine, Sydney, which is now known as the Woolcock Institute of Medical Research. In 1992 Woolcock became the first woman in clinical medicine to be elected a Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science. Ann Vanstone
Ann Vanstone is an Australian lawyer. She was a crown prosecutor before being appointed as a judge of the District Court of South Australia from 1999 until 2003. She was then appointed to the Supreme Court of South Australia. Vanstone stepped down from the Supreme Court bench in June 2019. Pamela Sykes is an Australian medical scientist and Chair of the Institutional Biosafety Committee at the Flinders Centre for Innovation in Cancer at Flinders University. She is a Strategic Professor in the area of Preventive Cancer Biology and leads a research group which studies the biological effects of low-dose radiation. Constance Margaret Eardley
Constance Margaret Eardley (6 September 1910 – 15 May 1978) was an Australian systematic botanist, lecturer and curator. She was the first woman appointed to the Council of the Royal Society of South Australia. Early life and education Constance Margaret Eardley was born in Fullarton, South Australia on 6 September 1910. Her mother was an historian and her father, Frederick William Eardley (1874–1958), was an accountant who served as registrar at the University of Adelaide.
