Charlie Waitt
Charles C. Waitt (October 14, 1853 – October 21, 1912), born in Hallowell, Maine, was a professional baseball player who played a total of four professional baseball season (sports), seasons. Waitt played in an era when baseball had many differences from modern baseball. He was in height, and in weight. He threw Handedness, right-handed, but it is unknown whether he batted right or left-handed. Career Charlie Waitt made his major league baseball debut on May 25, 1875 at age 22 with professional baseball club St. Louis Brown Stockings. While playing for the St. Louis Brown Stockings, Waitt had 113 At bat, at-bats, 23 runs, 2 base on balls, and 7 strikeouts. Waitt is probably best known for being one of the first baseball players to wear a glove. Christopher Martyn Preston Waitt (born 8 February 1971) is an English independent filmmaker, musician and writer from the seaside town of Worthing, England. Films and television After an unsuccessful career as a rock musician, Waitt began to write and direct short films. He co-wrote, directed and performed in the Bafta winning short film ''Dupe'', a comedy about a slacker who buys a cloning machine on eBay. He also made a number of short documentaries, including the Bafta nominated '' Heavy Metal Jr.'', a humorous look at a group of ten-year-olds who form a death metal band called Hatred. The film was included on the Wolphin DVD collection. Waitt also directed, co-wrote and co-created the MTV adult puppet show Fur TV, with his long-term collaborator, writer and producer Henry Trotter. Mick Waitt
Michael Hugh Waitt (born 25 June 1960) is an English football player and coach, who managed the New Zealand national football team. Waitt played in the Football League for Notts County and Lincoln City FC. He took charge of the New Zealand national side June 2002. New Zealand won eleven, drew two and lost ten of his 23 games in charge. He now works for Lemon-Squeezy and formally part of Quokkas, now an honorable Quokka. Richard Waitt (24 January 1684 - 1732) was a Scottish painter. Life His parents were Thomas Waitt (born c. 1665) from Scotland; and Marie Birrell (born c. 1670) from Scotland. Waitt Brick Block
The Waite Brick Block is a historic commercial building at 422-424 Main Street in Malden, Massachusetts. Built in 1848, it is the oldest brick building in the city. The three-story Greek Revival building has a hip roof, from which three tapered chimneys project. One corner of the building is curved, following the original junction of Main and Pleasant Streets. Windows are topped by granite lintels, and the cornice has a line of brick dentil work. The building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, misspelled as "Waitt". Condor Peninsula () is a mountainous, ice-covered peninsula, long and wide, between Odom Inlet and Hilton Inlet on the east coast of Palmer Land, Antarctica. Location The Condor Peninsula is on the Black Coast of Palmer Land, beside the Weddell Sea to the east. It is north of Hilton Inlet and south of Odom Inlet. To the southwest it is bounded by Kellogg Glacier, a left tributary of Gruening Glacier, which flows into Hilton Inlet. On the north it is bounded by Rankin Glacier, which joins Cline Glacier from the right and flows into Odom Inlet.
