W. E. B. Du Bois High School
W. E. B. Du Bois High School of Environmental Science (officially referred to as W. E. B. Du Bois High School) was a Public school (government funded), public High school#United States, high school located in northeast Baltimore, Maryland. The school was named after sociologist and civil-rights activist W. E. B. Du Bois, Dr. W. E. B. Du Bois. The school was situated in the former Northern High School (Baltimore, Maryland), Northern High School and shared the structure with the Reginald F. Lewis High School. The school was closed in the summer of 2015 by Baltimore City Public Schools as part of its 21st Century Building project. Curriculum W. E. B. Liga Leumit ( he, ליגה לאומית, lit. ''National League'') is the second tier level league of basketball competition in Israel. It is the league level that is below the first tier Israeli Basketball Premier League, Israeli Premier League. Jahmar Young (born November 18, 1986) is an American professional basketball player for Hapoel Hevel Modi'in of the Israeli National League. He played college basketball for New Mexico State. Early life and college career Young attended W. E. B. Du Bois High School in Baltimore, Maryland. He was rated as the No. 26 best prep recruit by hoopscooponline.com. As a youngster, he played for various AAU programs, including the DC Assault and Cecil Kirk. In 2004, Young averaged 18.3 points per game and shot 47.5 percent from the field in a four-game tournament for Cecil Kirk. Young played college basketball at the New Mexico State University, where he averaged 20.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 3.1 assists per game in his senior year.
