W. B. Brydon
W.B. Brydon (born William Brydon Bell, 20 September 1933), is a British actor. Brydon is primarily known as an actor, best known for the feature films '' The Age of Innocence'' (1993) and '' Trading Places'' (1983) and the television miniseries ''The Adams Chronicles'' (1976). Brydon provided the voice-over narration for many commercials, including ads for Oxy Skin Care products from the 1980s through the mid-1990s. His other voice work included ads for Raid insecticide, Fashion Bug clothing stores and the Shell MasterCard from Chemical Bank Chemical Bank was a bank with headquarters in New York City from 1824 until 1996. It was directed by Julian Roffman, and stars Paul Stevens, Claudette Nevins, and Bill Walker. Plot The story concerns a psychiatrist, Dr. Allen Barnes (Stevens), who obtains a mysterious ancient tribal mask after one of his patients (Radin) committed suicide. Whenever he puts on the mask, Barnes experiences dream-like visions which become increasingly disturbing and violent and even physically harming his girlfriend Pam (Nevins). The visions begin to alter Barnes' personality, and eventually drive him insane while Lt. Martin (Walker) questions those who knew him and the whereabouts of said mask. Premise A man begins to investigate on his own the death of his brother, who died from eating a hamburger laced with ground glass. With the police case stalled because of ineptness, the man's own investigation leads him toward a beatnik hang-out frequented by Nico (Peter Falk), a shady character who supplies drugs to the patrons and philosophizes about the ills of the world. Cast Production Julian Roffman and Ralph Foster formed Meridian Films in 1954, and Roffman chose to direct its first feature film, ''The Bloody Brood''. Raid is the brand name of a line of insecticide products produced by S. C. Johnson & Son, first launched in 1956. The initial active ingredient was the first synthetic pyrethroid, allethrin.
