''W.A.H.'' is the fifth mini album by J-pop singer-songwriter Marie Ueda. It released on April 17, 2019 under the Giza Studio label. Background The album was released in two editions, regular CD and limited CD+DVD. DVD will consist of live footage ''Utautau Vol.3'' with 14 tracks. This is Ueda's first album which was released in the shortest time. The concept of the album is "Japonism". Promotion The promotional and lead digital single, "Bloomin'" released on March 13. Marie Ueda
is a Japanese singer and songwriter under Giza Studio label. Biography At the age of 5 or 6, Ueda dreamed to become a singer one day. During elementary school she tried out in various auditions at singing contests. In 2003, at 12, she sang Yo Hitoto's "Morai Naki" at the Jaccom music festival and won the contest. When she attended middle school, she was scouted by a Fukuoka talent agency, but she rejected the offer. Then she tried out at a Giza Studio audition in her 3rd year of middle school and won. 2008–2013: Indie career In spring of 2007, after graduating from junior high school, Ueda went to live alone in Osaka and started music activities such as live performances and songwriting. Her live performances caught the attention of a staff at the record company, so she began music production. From January until June 2008, MarUedaie released a monthly digital single. Giza Studio
is a Japanese record label. The Giza Studio started as an indie label in the late 1990s under the name Garage Indies Zapping Association, but soon Being Inc. bought it as their sister label company. Giza Studio is located in Osaka, Japan and has been producing successful artists such as Mai Kuraki, Garnet Crow, Rina Aiuchi, etc. since their commercial service on September 1, 1998. Along with other Being Group's sister labels (Zain Records, Rooms Records, B-Gram Records, BMFC, Vermillion Records and Northern Music), the studio's main task is to create music productivity by hiring talented artists, composers and engineers. ''Heartbreaker'' (ハートブレイカー) is the third original album by J-pop singer-songwriter Marie Ueda. It was released on 26 August 2020 under the Giza Studio label. It includes the singles "Revolver", "I Just Wanna Be a Star", "Stranger" and "What's". Background The album consists of 17 songs, which makes it the longest album in Ueda's career. It's also the first album which includes lyrics and music from other people. Various veteran musicians from Being, such as Akihito Tokunaga, Daria Kawashima and Aika Ohno were involved in the music production. The album was released in two editions, regular CD and limited CD+DVD. The DVD consisted of music video clips from the years 2016-2020. The program is shown weekly, and features a Japanese music video hit chart countdown, live performances from musicians and music information. It is presented by three CGI-animated hosts. (born 26 April 1978) is a Japanese arranger, musician and composer for the Giza Studio label. He is a former member of band ''The★tambourines''. U-ka Saegusa In DB
was a Japanese pop rock band formed in Osaka in 2002. The band consists of lead vocalist U-ka Saegusa, lead guitarist Yūichirō Iwai, lead bassist Taku Ōyabu, and drummer Keisuke Kurumatani. Signed to Giza Studio, the band released four studio albums before disbanding in 2010. They're known for performing the several theme songs for the Japanese anime series, ''Case Closed''.
