Vít Krejčí
Vít Krejčí (born 19 June 2000) is a Czech professional basketball player for the Atlanta Hawks of the National Basketball Association (NBA). Early life and career Krejčí was born in Strakonice, Czech Republic and played basketball for the youth academy of Sokol Pisek. At age 14, he joined Spanish basketball club Zaragoza. In the 2016–17 season, he began playing for Anagan Olivar, the reserve team of Zaragoza, in the Liga EBA. Professional career Basket Zaragoza (2017–2021) On 5 March 2017, at 16 years and eight months of age, Krejčí made his professional debut for Zaragoza against Fuenlabrada. He tied with Sergi García as the second-youngest debutant in club history, behind Carlos Alocén. On 17 April 2020, Krejčí declared for the 2020 NBA draft. In the 2019–20 season, Krejčí averaged 3.2 points in 9.2 minutes per game and was named to the ACB All-Young Players Team. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Point guards are expected to run the team's offense by controlling the ball and making sure that it gets to the right player at the right time. The Basketball Champions League (BCL) is an annual professional basketball competition for European clubs, organised by FIBA. It is the top-level competition organised by FIBA Europe, therefore the champion participates in the FIBA Intercontinental Cup. 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup Qualification (Europe)
The 2019 FIBA Basketball World Cup qualification for the FIBA Europe region, began in August 2017 and concluded in February 2019. Contrary to previous years, no teams were automatically placed into the World Cup, so all FIBA Europe nations had to participate in qualification. Format FIBA Europe was allocated 12 berths at the World Cup. In total, 37 FIBA Europe teams took part in the qualification tournament. Maurice José "Moe" Harkless (born May 11, 1993) is an American-Puerto Rican professional basketball player who is currently a free agent. He played college basketball for the St. John's Red Storm before being drafted 15th overall, after his freshman season, in the 2012 NBA draft. Harkless has represented the Puerto Rican national team. The NBA G League, or simply the G League, is the National Basketball Association's (NBA) official List of developmental and minor sports leagues, minor league basketball organization. The league was known as the National Basketball Development League (NBDL) from 2001 to 2005, and the NBA Development League (NBA D-League) from 2005 until 2017. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. The draft was originally scheduled to be held at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on June 25, but due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, it was instead conducted at ESPN's facilities in Bristol, Connecticut, with the event held via videoconferencing.
