Víctor Manuel Pérez Rojas
Victor Manuel Pérez Rojas (17 October 1940 – 12 November 2019) was a Venezuelan Catholic prelate. Pérez Rojas was born in Venezuela and was ordained to the priesthood in 1965. He served as titular bishop of ''Tagaria'' and was auxiliary bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Calabozo, Venezuela from 1998 to 2001. A titular bishop in various churches is a bishop who is not in charge of a diocese. By definition, a bishop is an "overseer" of a community of the faithful, so when a priest is ordained a bishop, the tradition of the Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Oriental Orthodox churches is that he be ordained for a specific place.
