''Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück'' ("From the Skyline Back to the Curb") is the fourth solo album by German rapper Bushido. The title alludes to his first solo album, ''Vom Bordstein bis zur Skyline'' (2003). It was released as both a standard and "platinum" edition. Information The album contains no features and was entirely produced by Bushido himself, except for two tracks. It spawned three singles: " Von der Skyline zum Bordstein zurück", "Sonnenbank Flavour" and " Janine". In an interview, Bushido said that it would be his last album, however, he went on to release a new one in 2007. The album received platinum status in Germany for more than 200,000 sold units and gold in Austria for more than 10,000 sold units. Anis Mohamed Youssef Ferchichi (born 28 September 1978), better known by his alias Bushido, is a German rapper, hip-hop producer, and entrepreneur. He is also the co-founder of the record label ersguterjunge. Raised in Berlin, Ferchichi came in contact with hip-hop through graffiti and his friend and fellow rapper Fler. In 2001, Ferchichi released his demo ''King of KingZ'', which later led him to sign a record label deal with Aggro Berlin. Ferchichi's first official release was ''Carlo Cokxxx Nutten'' in 2002, a collaboration with Fler. Early life Ferchichi was born on 28 September 1978 to a Tunisian father and German mother in Bad Godesberg, Bonn, West Germany. His father left the family when Bushido was three years old while his mother decided to move to West-Berlin. Dark Sanctuary is a French neoclassical darkwave, gothic metal band that was formed in Paris in 1996. History The band's first official release was a 20-minute single-track music CD, ''Funeral Cry'', released in 1997. At that time, the band consisted of only two members, Arkdae on keyboards and Marquise Ermia on vocals. In 1998, the band added additional members to their line-up: Hylgaryss (keyboards), Sombre Cÿr (percussion/bass) and Eliane (violins). William Alan Hawkshaw (27 March 1937 – 16 October 2021) was a British composer and performer, particularly of library music used as themes for movies and television programs. Hawkshaw worked extensively for the KPM production music company in the 1950s to the 1970s, composing and recording many stock tracks that have been used extensively in film and TV. He was the composer of a number of theme tunes including ''Grange Hill'' (originally library music recorded in Munich known as "Chicken Man") and ''Countdown''. In addition, he was an arranger and pianist, and in the United States with the studio group Love De-Luxe scored a number 1 single on the ''Billboard'' Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart with "Here Comes That Sound Again" in 1979. "The Champ" is a song by The Mohawks, a group of session musicians assembled by Alan Hawkshaw. It was originally released in 1968 but failed to chart. However, a re-release made #58 on the UK Singles Chart in 1987 after being sampled many times. The song is based on "Tramp", a 1967 Lowell Fulson record that was covered extensively after its release. The song chants the word "Tramp" rather than "Champ". Antimatter, a UK dark rock band, is the solo project of longtime founding member Mick Moss. The project was originally a duo composed of founding member Duncan Patterson (former bassist/songwriter of Anathema) and Moss, being essentially an amalgamation of two solo projects working in tandem with each other, with each member writing and arranging their songs alone and compiling them in the studio later on to create an album. Elend is a dark ambient/ neoclassical band formed in France in 1993 by composers and multi-instrumentalists Iskandar Hasnawi of France and Renaud Tschirner of Austria. The band's name is German for "misery." Their music can be described as a combination of contemporary classical music and gothic. Stylistic overview Early Elend albums utilized samplers and synthesizers to create a dense and horrifying orchestral sound. Chakuza
Peter Pangerl (born 22 February 1981), better known as Chakuza, is an Austrian rapper. Career After finishing an apprenticeship to become chef, he teamed up with DJ Stickle and MC J and formed the hip hop group ''Verbale Systematik''. When MC J left the group in 2002, they changed their name to ''Beatlefield'' and became a production duo. Kenneth Glöckler (born 7 September 1984) is a German rapper known as Kay One. He is also known as Prince Kay One.
