Voltaj
Voltaj (, meaning ''voltage'' in Romanian) is a Romanian pop rock group. History Voltaj was formed in 1982, in Bucharest, by Horațiu Rad on bass, Nikki Dinescu (Krypton) on drums, Gabi Nacu (Krypton) on guitar, Cristi Minculescu (Iris) on vocals and Adrian Ilie (Iris) on guitar. Their sound at the time was on the heavier side of hard rock, being one of the earliest examples of traditional heavy metal in the Romanian scene. During this period there were numerous changes in the line-up, all the disputes even spawning a second Voltaj, known as Voltaj 88', which also managed to release a couple of albums during the '90s. By the time of their 1996 debut,"Pericol de Moarte", only drummer Nikki Dinescu was left from the original line-up. The album, which also features Tavi Colen Talisman on vocals, is their only record in the heavy metal style. "De la capăt" (Romanian: "From the Beginning") is a song recorded by Romanian group Voltaj for their tenth studio album ''X'' (2016). It was made available as a single for digital download on 31 October 2014 by Cat Music and Voltz Media. A Romanian song, two other versions were released eventually—"De la capăt (All Over Again)" in Romanian and English, and "All Over Again" fully in English. Romania participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with the song "De la capăt" written by Călin Gavril Goia, Gabriel Constantin, Adrian Cristescu, Silviu-Marian Păduraru, Victor-Răzvan Alstani, Monica-Ana Stevens and Andrei-Madalin Leonte. The Romanian broadcaster Televiziunea Română (TVR) organised the national final ''Selecția Națională 2015'' in order to select the Romanian entry for the 2015 contest in Vienna, Austria. Krypton (band)
Krypton is a Romanian rock band formed in 1982 by Eugen Mihăescu. History With the original line-up consisting of Eugen Mihăescu (guitars), Gabriel Golescu (guitar), Mihai Rotaru (drums) and George Lungu (bass), they managed to release their first songs on the Romanian state sanctioned Electrecord label's, "Formații rock 7" compilation in 1982. Following a major line-up change, bass player Dragoș Docan, drummer Liviu Pop and vocalist Marius Voicu join the band, laying the foundation for the more well-known group. After being invited to numerous events, even securing a slot at the famous Cenaclul Flacăra, the group managed to sign a deal with Electrecord, releasing their first LP, "30 minute". Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu
Ovidiu Cernăuțeanu (; born 23 August 1974), also known by his stage names Ovi Martin, Ovi Jacobsen, or simply Ovi, is a Romanian-Norwegian singer and songwriter. After being raised in Botoșani, he moved to Norway in 1995. Paula Seling (, born 25 December 1978) is a Romanian singer, songwriter, record producer, DJ, and television personality. Raised in Baia Mare, she attended Gheorghe Șincai National College and later moved to Bucharest to pursue a career in music.
