Kristoffersson Motorsport is a Swedish auto racing team owned by racing driver Tommy Kristoffersson. It currently competes in the FIA World Rallycross Championship and Swedish Touring Car Championship, with Tommy's son Johan Kristoffersson as one of the drivers. The team has raced under several sponsored names, such as Team Biogas.se, Volkswagen Dealer Team KMS, Volkswagen Team Sweden, Volkswagen RX Sweden and PSRX Volkswagen Sweden. Rallycross Tommy Kristoffersson competed with a self-run Audis at the Swedish Rallycross Championship and the FIA European Rallycross Championship (ERX) in the 1980s and 1990s. He won the Swedish championship in 1989, 1991 and 1992, whereas he placed third in the 1993 ERX and fourth in 1991. In 2013, Johan Kristoffersson and Pontus Tidemand entered the Swedish round of the 2013 FIA European Rallycross Championship with a Volkswagen Scirocco. Tommy Kristoffersson
Tommy Sten Kristoffersson, actually Tommy Sten Kristoffersen, (born 1 May 1959 in Eda) is a Swedish race car driver whose father hails from Denmark. In the beginning of his career he competed in rallycross for Audi before starting a team in the Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) in 1998 running Audi A4 Quattros with himself as one of the drivers. Tommy Kristoffersson has competed for his team from 1998 to 2008, finishing 4th overall in 1998 and 2001. He retired from the STCC before the start of the 2009 season, as Kristoffersson Motorsport was struggling in the championship three years after Audi pulled out from backing his team. The Audi A4 is a line of compact executive cars produced since 1994 by the German car manufacturer Audi, a subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group. The 2013 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship was the third Scandinavian Touring Car Championship season. The season started at Ring Knutstorp on 4 May and ends on 21 September at Mantorp Park. Jordi Gené
Jordi Gené Guerrero (born 5 December 1970) is a racing driver who competed in the World Touring Car Championship between 2005 and 2010. His younger brother, Marc is also a ex-racing driver and is currently a Brand Ambassador for the Scuderia Ferrari Formula One team. Early career After winning the Spanish Karting Championship in 1986, Sabadell-born Gené moved up to automobiles, where he became instantly competitive, winning the Fiat Uno Championship in 1987 and the Spanish Formula Ford Championship the following year. TTA – Racing Elite League
TTA – Racing Elite League was a Swedish Touring Car Championship started in 2012, founded by four of the biggest teams in Swedish Touring Car racing; Polestar Racing, Flash Engineering, WestCoast Racing and Brovallen Design in 2011. TTA works with the Swedish Automobile Sports Federation and the race car is developed by the French motorsport company Solution-F. The car is a silhouette, where by the chassis and powertrain are standardized and custom-built for racing and where the body is molded from composite material to mimic a normal car. 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship
The 2010 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 15th and last Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. Four of the race weekends were held together with the Danish Touring Car Championship and the results from these races also counted towards the Scandinavian Touring Car Cup. From 2011, the new Scandinavian Touring Car Championship replaced both the Swedish and the Danish Touring Car Championships. 2009 Swedish Touring Car Championship
The 2009 Swedish Touring Car Championship season was the 14th Swedish Touring Car Championship (STCC) season. It was decided over nine race weekends (comprising eighteen races) at six different circuits. Tommy Rustad won the drivers' championship for the second time. The ethanol powered Volvo C30 of Polestar Racing proved to be the fastest car over one lap, as evidenced by them setting all fastest qualifying times during the season (although grid penalties ruined the perfect score), but they were plagued by bad reliability. Instead, Thed Björk, driving for Flash Engineering, lead the championship most of the season, only to be overtaken in the last race. Frank Stippler (born 9 April 1975) is a German professional racing driver. He has competed in such series as Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters, Rolex Sports Car Series and the Swedish Touring Car Championship. He won both the Porsche Supercup and Porsche Carrera Cup Germany series in 2003. He is also very successful in historic racing. Thed Björk (born 14 December 1980 in Vretstorp, Örebro) is a Swedish racing driver, and 2017 World Touring Car Champion. Other notable titles include the 2006 Swedish Touring Car Championship and the 2013, 2014 and 2015 Scandinavian Touring Car Championship. He also finished second in 2005 and 2009, and third in the 2008 STCC and the 2012 TTA – Racing Elite League.
