Volgorechensk (russian: Волгоре́ченск) is a town in Kostroma Oblast, Russia, on the right bank of the Volga River, south of Kostroma, the administrative center of the oblast. Kostroma Power Station
The Kostroma Power Station (Kostromskaya GRES) is a gas-fired power station near Volgorechensk in Russia. The station consists of eight 300 MW units and a single 1,200 MW unit. Kostroma Oblast (russian: Костромска́я о́бласть, ''Kostromskaya oblast'') is a federal subject of Russia (an oblast).
