Volcano Rocks
Volcano Rocks was once a candy produced in the United States by The Willy Wonka Candy Company throughout the 1970s and the 1980s. They were solid pieces of sugar candy resembling multi-colored rocks like the colorful gravel Gravel is a loose aggregation of rock fragments. It had a top that had a tear-out panel and then a sliding hard paper lid which revealed the opening. Volcano Rocks are no longer available and information on the original candy is scarce and often misleads some to believe Pop Rocks are a viable substitute. Tart 'n' Tinys
Tart 'n' Tinys are small, fruit-flavored candies distributed by Leaf Brands. Tart 'n' Tiny's were originally manufactured by the Wonka company in five colors, bluish-purple (grape), yellow (lemon), orange (orange), red (cherry), and green (lime). In 2015 when they were reintroduced, they added a new color, light blue (blue raspberry). The original incarnation of Tart 'n' Tinys candies were small cylinders of compressed dextrose. The candy had a chalky appearance and consistency, with a firm crunch that would crumble in the mouth, similar to SweeTarts or Smarties. Nerds are an American candy launched in 1983 by the Sunmark Corporation under the brand name Willy Wonka Candy Company. Nerds are now made by the Ferrara Candy Company, a subsidiary of Ferrero Group. With their anthropomorphic covers, Nerds usually contain two flavors per box, and each flavor has a separate compartment and opening.
