Volbeat Members
Volbeat are a Danish rock band formed in Copenhagen in 2001. They play a fusion of rock and roll, heavy metal, and rockabilly. Their current line-up consists of vocalist and guitarist Michael Poulsen, guitarist Rob Caggiano, drummer Jon Larsen and bassist Kaspar Boye Larsen. The band is signed to Dutch label Mascot Records and has released eight studio albums and one DVD. Their second album ''Rock the Rebel/Metal the Devil'' received platinum status, and their 2010 release ''Beyond Hell/Above Heaven'' was subject to widespread international critical acclaim, receiving triple platinum in Denmark and Austria, double platinum in Sweden, platinum in Canada, 5x Gold in Germany, and gold in Finland and the United States. Rob Caggiano
Robert Caggiano (born November 7, 1976) is an American guitarist and record producer. Since 2013, Caggiano has been the lead guitarist of the rock band Volbeat. He had formerly been guitarist of thrash metal band Anthrax and nu metal band Boiler Room. Career Caggiano's first professional band was Boiler Room that formed in 1996. The band caught the attention of Roadrunner Records after an opening slot for the band Orgy in 1999. After several delays, the band eventually got Tommy Boy Records to release their debut album ''Can't Breathe''. Soon after the release, the band broke up in summer 2000. He initially played with Anthrax from 2001 until 2005, exiting when their ''Among the Living'' lineup reunited, and later returning in 2007 following the end of that reunion. Thomas Bredahl
Thomas Bredahl (born 2 November 1980) is a Danish music manager, former guitarist and singer. He was lead guitarist of Volbeat and is now the guitarist of Gob Squad. Bredahl joined Volbeat in 2006, and the band announced his departure on November 28, 2011. He was the successor of Franz Gottschalk, who was fired by Volbeat after the recording of their second album '' Rock the Rebel / Metal the Devil'' was completed. After Volbeat he worked again with Gob Squad, where he was the lead singer. In present, he is partner and manager at Heartbeat Management. Roskilde Festival
The Roskilde Festival is a Danish music festival held annually south of Roskilde. It is one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. It was created in 1971 by two high school students and a promoter. In 1972, the festival was taken over by the Roskilde Foundation, which has since run the festival as a non-profit organization for development and support of music, culture and humanism. In 2014, the Roskilde Foundation provided festival participants with the opportunity to nominate and vote upon which organizations should receive funds raised by the festival. The Roskilde Festival was Denmark's first music-oriented festival created for hippies, and today covers more of the mainstream youth from Scandinavia and the rest of Europe. A concert is a live music performance in front of an audience. ''The Strength / The Sound / The Songs'' is the debut studio album by Danish rock band Volbeat. Released in 2005, the album initially failed to chart. However, in July 2006 the album entered the Danish Charts, peaking at number 18. The album would stay on that chart for 21 non-consecutive weeks. Volbeat's label at the time, Mascot Records, had only a limited distribution deal in the United States, meaning that the album went largely unnoticed in that country. Volbeat would not breakthrough in the United States until 2010 with their fourth album, ''Beyond Hell/Above Heaven''.
